Once again, she snuck out in the night. She didn't feel right sleeping in a confined space. She always slept under the stars with her father.

Her father.... She blinked, staring up at the sky. She chose to mate these men, and so she now had to stay with this pride. If she was to leave, and she was with child, it could cause problems in the future.

How would her father feel about her choosing humans? It's not like she would discard him, he would always be her father. She rolled onto her side, coming face to face with the dog beast.

"Ah, you." She mumbled, eyes blurring with sleep.

"You know, it's not normal for a human woman to mate more than one male in their world." Hinata rubbed her eyes, the words hardly processing in her heavy mind.

"It's too late, mmm. I have already chosen them to be my mates." She yawned her insides aching from being stretched.

"Ah, you are a foolish girl. There will be fighting tomorrow." Akamaru sighed. This girl was just like an animal, it was hard to believe she had the body of a human.

"You should just leave her, dog." The cat spoke, its pupils huge to accommodate for the night. "She is an animal. When she first got here, she was full blown wild." The cat hopped down from the railing. "She may look human, but she was raised wild. Even if she adjusts to the human world, she will never really fit." The cat was rather wise, it seemed. Most cats were assholes and kept to themselves, but this one seemed to watch.

He had to be careful of it.

"Hmph, there will be fighting when the sun rises." Akamaru growled. The cat flicked its tail.

"It will be fun to see how she handles it."

The roar of his son made him growl. After being here for so long, he finally understood. His son wanted his help to attack human camps. With this knowledge, he wondered if Hinata's camp was attacked all those years ago when she was little. It was likely. His son was always off his nocker.

So it was his sons fault.

He stalks back and forth, wary of the lionesses around him. Now that he's been around them, he could tell they had an insatiable hunger. They would all eat, and eat, but never really be satisfied. They craved human.

They were human eaters.

He looked to the sky.

He worried for his daughter.

"The next target has been chosen, we move out in two days." His ears perked. "The camp is not far away, humans have been there for awhile now."

He strained to hear more. "Isn't that the camp where the old coots human kit it?" A dreading heat filled him.

"Yes." His gut dropped. "Attack and kill her first."
