Chance (Harry Styles Fanfic)

Part 3

I can't believe I was dumb enough to go. What was I expecting? Harry to come and be all over me or ignore me the whole time. I was obviously expecting the first option, but that is not what I got.

I just don't understand why he acted that way. I guess I just expected too much. I mean yeah I guess it was just a kiss. But that kiss was different. It was amazing.

I decided to stop by the 24 hour grocery store because I did need to get some food. My fridge was basically empty.

I got some simple stuff: fruits and such.

"Jade?" A voice called.

I turned to see Eleanor, Louis' girlfriend.

"What are you doing here? I thought you were staying at Zayn's."

"About that...."

I ended up explaining everything to Eleanor.

"I'm sorry that happened. Harry can be a jerk sometimes. Well...most of the time. Wanna come over to my place?" She asked.

I smiled. "Yes I'd love to come."

I followed Eleanor to her apartment. It was a really nice place and only a few minutes away from my place. We got inside and sat on the couch.

"So." She said. "Let's get to know each other."

Eleanor and I ended up talking until 4 a.m. I learned so much about her. She's my best friend now. I also learned a lot about Harry that I didn't expect to hear.

He had a short temper, was rarely happy, and never really had a serious girlfriend. All of his girlfriends wouldnt last long. It shocked me to hear this because Harry was anything but that when we went out to Nando's. It did upset me too because I thought he was different.

"Don't worry about him Jade." She said.

"How can I not?" I answered.

"What do you mean?"

"He never told you? I went out with him the other day at the mall. We ended up going to Nando's and having lunch. He was completely different. Nothing like how he was tonight." I replied.

Eleanor had a shocked look on her face.

"I'm pretty sure he didn't tell anyone about that."

It's 5 a.m. and I'm just now getting home. I cant wait to sleep. I looked at my phone and saw billions of texts and missed calls from Chrissa. I ignored them. I was so tired I just plopped onto my bed and slept.

"GOODMORNING SUNSHINE!" Eleanor yelled.

"How did you get in my house?"

"I found the extra key. Its the same place I hide mine at my flat."

Eleanor and I had breakfast, well brunch, and talked even more.

"I was planning on going to the city today and look at the shops. Would you like to join me?"

"Id love to. Just let me get dressed." I replied.

I put on a blue and yellow sundress and my beige wedges.

Eleanor and I took her car to the city. We went to so many shops and I was able to get some cute outfits.

"You know you're different from all the other girls Harry has gone out with. They were all so boring and innocent. And now there's you. You're exciting and daring. You're not insecure. You're different."

"Um..thanks? Ahaha. But I don't think we're going out. I mean I don't know what we are..we're something foreign I guess you could say."

We went to a cafe to go eat. After we were done we just stayed and talked. I felt a little tap on my shoulder and turned around to see who it was.

Chrissa.

I turned back and looked at Eleanor because she tapped my foot. She had this look on her face saying we have to go.

"Um hey Chrissa."

"Hello there Jade. Where have you been? I called, texted, and went to your house but I couldn't get in touch with you." She said.

"Well you found her now, but we have to go come on Jade." Eleanor said.

She grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me out of the cafe.

"I know that girl..." Eleanor said.

"Ya she's one of my friends. What's going on?"

"Look Jade. I know that girl but not on very good terms." She answered.

"Ok...what happened?"

"We were all at a club and I went to the bathroom. When I came back she was lapdancing on Louis so of course I was pissed. We got into a fight and I broke her nose."

"When was this?" I asked.

"I don't know a couple months ago."

That's when it hit me. Chrissa did break her nose a few months ago but she said it happened at her old job. She worked as a daycare assistant. She lied.

"Oh."

"Ya so I'm sorry I dragged you out. I just couldn't bare to look at her face."

"There is no need to apologise. Trust me, I get it."

I really did get it. I mean yeah Chrissa was my friend but she is the type of person to do that. I just don't have that awesome feeling I get with Eleanor, Perrie, and Sophia when I'm with Chrissa. I know lots of things about Chrissa, or so I hoped. I mean if she lied about breaking her nose what else has she lied about? There could be many things....

After a crazy long day with Eleanor I finally went home at around 6:30 p.m. and I decided to go take a shower.

After my shower I went to watch some Tv. It would relax me a bit.

I then heard a knock at the door so I got up and opened it.

"Harry?" I said.

"Ya..um... Can I come in?" He answered.

I moved aside to let him in. I went back on the coach and didn't look at him.

"Can we um..talk?"

"What is it. Are you here to tell me more about how that kiss meant nothing or what? How did you even get here? I thought you were drunk when you came here last. How would you remember where I live?" I answered.

"No I came to...." He took a deep breath, "apologise. I'm sorry I ignored you that whole night..."

I looked up at his face that was inches away from mine. He crashed his lips onto mine and I got that fire in the stomach again.

"This time I meant that kiss."
