Part 16

I woke up to a warm touch. I looked to my left and saw jacob sleeping there peacefully. I took a moment to look at him before I woke him up because we had to go to work within the hour.

"Hey wake up." I said while nudging his shoulder.

He didn't have a shirt on which just made me stare.

"Jacob it's 10 o'clock! We have to be at work by 11."

I saw Jacob's eyes slowly open. He cringed becaue of the sunlight that hit his face.

"Goodmorning.'' he said.

"Goodmorning. I'm gonna go get dressed. Come on!"

I got out of bed to realize I was pretty much just in my underwear and bra.

"Shit!" I yelled while scrambling for an oversized shirt.

"Hey! No need to try and cover up!" Jacob said.

I glared at him. "No need to be a pervert." I answered.

I turned around and headed for the kitchen.

"You have a nice ass!" I heard Jacob yell.

"PERVERT!" I yelled back.

I made bacon and eggs. Classic breakfast. Jacob walked out of my room without a shirt on. I pretnded that I didn't notice him. Jacob came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He kissed me on the cheek. 

"Last night was fun." he said.

"You know what else is fun? Eating because food is my life. Come on."  

Jacob sat down where I had set a plate. I sat next to him and started eating.

"Hey can I ask you a question?" 

I nodded. "Sure. Ask away."

"What am I supposed to call last night? Can I call it a dateeeeee?"

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "I suppose!"

"Yes! So are you my girlfriend?" 

"Damn Jacob we had ONE date. No I am not your girlfriend!"

"M'kay grumpy."

Jacob and I drove to work obviously in separate cars. When I got there my phone started ringing.

"I'll be there in a minute." I told Jacob.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey Jade it's Niall. I was just calling to see how you're doing. I'm sorry about what happened last night."

"Oh hey it's fine. I was already sort of heated but I'm ok. Thanks for calling, it means a lot."

"Yeah no problem. Hey if it makes you feel any better you can call me anytime."

"Thanks Niall, that's really sweet. Well I have to get to work. I'll text you later. Maybe we can hang out." I said.

"Okay sounds good. Bye."

I walked into work and got behind the bar.

*later that day*

"Hey Jacob can you get someone to pick up my shift tonight? I'm tired."

"Well we did stay up pretty late." he said with a smirk.

"Jacob stop you're being annoying. Can I get tonight off or not?"

"Yeah you can. Just be here early tomorrow."
