"Excuse me?" I asked.
"Jade I've been waiting for the right moment to ask you this. I'm sorry if you think it's too rushed."
"D, I love you. I really do but I don't know if I can go out with you. I mean I want to but with your surfing tour and everything I don't know if it will work out. And I told you I've been talking to this guy Harry. I don't want to just block him off all of a sudden." I answered.
"Jade he stood you up for god's sake! And who was there for you? ME. And my tour. Yeah I'm going to New Zealand....I was gonna ask you if you wanted to come with me."
"Just drop everything for you? Damien you KNOW I'm not the type of person to just drop everything and go. I have a job here. I have an apartment here that I have to maintain. I'm sorry D, but no."
"So are you also saying no to being my girlfriend?" He asked.
"Actually I am saying no because I've seen your pictures on Instagram and Facebook. You meet all those girls, and if I'm with you, I don't want to drive them away because I know for a fact that you like that. So Damien, I'm sorry, but as of now we're just friends." I replied.
"Jade come on I..I love you."
"Yeah and I love you too, but just as a friend right now. I'm sorry."
Damien came for me and kissed me.
"Nothing? No spark?" He asked.
"Yeah there's a little spark, but my answer is still no."
Damien hugged me tight.
"If you ever change your mind, I'm here waiting for you."
I nodded. I never thought this day would come that Damien was begging for me and I turned him down. i always thought it would be the other way around.

Damien left and I swear he had tears in his eyes. Ahahaha.
I started thinking about Harry. I can't believe he stood me up. I feel hurt inside. And the worst part is he might be at the get together tonight. I mean this guy is so unpredictable. He could be apologetic or not care that he stood me up.

Just as I got out of the shower my phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Um hi Jade."
"Harry?" I asked.
"Ya it's me. Look I stood you up and I'm a jerk I'm so sorry."
"Well why didn't you call or text me? I would've understood." I answered.
"I'm sorry. I truly am. Are you going to Zayn's tonight?"
"Yeah I am. Are you?"
"Ya I'm going. I'll see you then. Bye Jade."
"Bye Harry." I replied.
I guess I'll see him tonight...

I decided to go to the mall since I had a few hours left to spare. I went to Starbucks and sat down with my coffee and MacBookPro. I like being here even though that may sound weird. It's so chill.
I opened my laptop and went to my library. I normally read books while I'm here. I clicked on Pride and Prejudice. I remember I started reading this book a long time ago but never finished it. I was about halfway through the book.
"What are you reading?" A voice asked.
I looked up to see Luke.
"Oh um Pride and Prejudice. I'm not really interested in it though. Haha what are you doing here?" I asked.
