Part 15

*next day*

"JADE YOU CALL ME AS SOON AS YOU GET THIS MESSAGE!" Perrie yelled in her voicemail.

I dialed her number and waited for her to pick up. After one ring she answered.

"Why the hell did you break up with Harry?" She yelled.

"Well hello to you too."

"Seriously Jade why did you?"

"What should it matter to you? You're the one who was yelling and screaming at him the other day." I said.

"Yes that's true but Jade I didn't mean for you to break up with him."

"Well I did. I would've expected you to be all happy and jolly because I broke up with him. You seemed to hate him the other day. REMEMBER?" 

"Yes yes I do. Well he came over to our place and was a wreck. And because of that of course he got drunk last night so he slept over. He left like 10 minutes ago." she replied.

"Ok....well look I have to go to work. I'll stop by later but text me if Harry comes over cause I wanna stay away from him for awhile."

"Sure I'll text you. Bye."

I hung up the phone and got dressed for work. After that I got into my car and drove to the bar. 

"Hey Jade!" Jacob called.

I looked up and smiled. I surely wasn't in the mood to talk. I just wanted to go to work, maybe go to Perrie's, and go home. I just need my alone time as of now.

"You okay?"

"Huh? Oh ya I'm fine." I answered.

"You sure, cause you aren't acting like yourself. You wanna talk about it?" he said.

After a short pause I looked up at Jacob and spoke. "I broke up with Harry."

His eyes widened and he sort of smirked. "May I ask why?" 

"He kept a bad secret from me. He lied and I don't wanna be with someone who is like that. But look I don't really wanna talk about it now. I just wanna chill and enjoy my single life." I replied.

"Don't worry I get it, but if you ever need anything, I'm here." Jacob said while giving me a sweet smile.

I smiled back and got back to work. It's comforting to know that Jacob cares. I mean it's comforting to know that someone cares. Perrie is all mad at me because I broke up with him. I swear that girl is bipolar. And I don't even know how Sophia, El, and the boys feel. I guess I'll find out tonight.

*end of shift*

"Alright guys I'm heading out. See you tomorrow!" I yelled.

"Jade! Wait!"

I turned around and saw Jacob running towards me. I laughed and waited. "In a hurry?" I asked.

"Ha ha very funny. No, I wanted to ask you something. There's this really good Chinese place that just opened down the street from me. I know Chinese is your favorite so I wanted to ask if you would like to go eat dinner there tomorrow night.."

"Uh-um Jacob that's really nice of you but I literally just got out of a relationship and I'm not ready to start dating again." I answered.

"Who said it would be a date?" he said with a smile.

I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Fine. After work. I'll bring clothes to change in."

"Cool! Well I have to close the bar so I'll see you tomorrow. Bye!"

I turned around and walked to my car. "Did Jacob just ask me out?" I said to myself.

I called Perrie to see whats up. "Is Harry there?" I asked.

"No it's just me, El, Zayn, Niall, Luke, Ashton, and Liam. Come on over." she replied.

*at Perrie's house* *knock knock*

"It's open!" I heard Zayn call.

I walked in and closed the door behind me.

"Hey Jade!" Perrie yelled. 

"Hey." I answered. "How is everyone?" 

Everyone greeted me except Liam. "What's his deal?" I asked Eleanor.

"He broke up with Sophia. He said he thought it just wasn't working out. He's upset but don't worry." she whispered.

"So Perrie how are the wedding plans going?" I asked.

"Pretty busy." she answered. 

She had a slight edge in her voice. I swear she's bipolar. "Are you ok?" 

"Actualy I'm upset that you broke up with Harry."

"Are you seriously still on that? It was my choice Perrie. I don't give a damn if you disagree with what I did. You're the one who was extremely pissed at him the other day. What the hell happened to that?"

"Ugh just stop." she said.

"HAHAHAHA! Fuck no. You started it!"

"Guys stop!" Niall yelled.

"Wanna know why I'm upset? Because yeah what Harry did was wrong but you're good for him Jade! You kept him sane and in-line. He needs you." 

I paused and took a moment to think about what she said. "Look that's sweet but I can't be with someone who's a drug dealer and a liar."

"Jade he's done with that." she replied.

"You know what I don't need this right now. I decided to break up with him. It was my choice and I don't need you telling me I was wrong." 

I grabbed my bag and stormed out of the house. I grabbed my phone and dialed Jacob.

"Hey Jacob, can we hang out tonight instead?" 

"Yeah, I'll make a reservation-"

"No. Come over to my house. We'll do the Chinese place tomorrow or something." I said.

"Okay cool." he said and I knew he was smiling.

*knock knock*

"Hey Jacob! You look nice."

"Same to you. Oh here I brought you these." he said while handing me roses.

"You didn't have to." I said.

"But I wanted to."

"So I made some steak for us to eat. I was thinking we could watch a movie."

"Sounds good. I like steak. Hahaha."

After Jacob and I ate our food we sat down on the couch and started to watch the movie. He put his arm around me and I snuggled into the crook of his neck. 

*2 hours later*

"Well it's getting kind of late. I should go. We have work tomorrow." Jacob said.

"Um why don't you stay over?" I said with a smile.

"Ok." Jacob answered while smiling back.

He leaned in and looked me in the eyes. I looked back at him and leaned in too. When our lips met I couldn't help but smile. I remembered that I used to dream of this happening, and here it is.

uh oh! looks like she's having something with Jacob. Is it a thing or a fling!?

I promise to update more often. I'm going a 3 week vacation so I can really only update a little bc I won't really have access to a computer. I will update Friday and then Sunday. Hopefully I can update throughout the 3 weeks.
