Along The Way: A Raura Story

"Ross cut it out!" Raini said laughing silently trying to contain herself, even though it seemed like she wasn't letting in a single breath.

"Oh come on, you know it's funny!" Ross snorted breaking into a massive laugh.

Laura was frowning down at both of the nut jobs, of course they weren't crazy, she did look a little funny in the dress her friend gave her not to long ago but hey, at least he was being a nice neighbor.

"I think he was being sweet." Laura protests to them.

Ross immediately stops laughing "Sweet? Sweet?" He chuckles "That, Laur, is being mean" Him and Raini start cracking up.

Laura rolls her eyes and leaves Calum's dressing room. That room is usually where they all hang. Even though Calum wasn't even there a moment ago.

Laura wasn't upset, she just had to get out of the dress before anyone else saw it. It was also really tight, did he think she was this skinny?

Laura makes her way down the hallway. Then Calum comes up the hallway behind her.

"Laura?" Calum calls, Laura's mind tells her to keep walking but her body decides to respond by turning around. "Calum.." He smiles at her then covers his face laughing hard. "What is that?"

Calum asks between laughs. "Ask Ross and Raini, I'm going to change." Laura turns away from the laughing redhead. She reaches her dressing room, opening it and locking it.

Laura looks at her dress in the mirror. "It doesn't look that bad." she tries to convince herself. After looking at it for a minute she decides to change into a red floral dress. She looks in the mirror. "Now that's better" Laura checks her phone. 5:05 am.

Its way to early for Laura. She sets an alarm for 7:15am and lays down on her couch with a fluffy blanket. Soon falls into a deep sleep.

Meanwhile (Laura is still asleep, Ross, Raini and Calum are all in Calum's dressing room)

"Nice going Ross, she's probably upset now." Raini says to Ross. Ross wasn't trying to be mean, he also thought Laura thought it was funny.

"But she was smiling. Where did she even go?" Just then Calum comes into the dressing room. Of course he knew the answer.

"Laura? Yeah she went to her dressing room to change out of-" Calum starts to die of laughter. "Whatever that thing was" he chokes out. They all laugh hysterically. Soon the laughter dies off.

"When did she say that? Shouldn't she be back by now?" Raini asks Calum. Calum starts to think. Laura did say that a while back. "I saw her about 20 minutes ago. But that dress looked really tight." He tells them.

"So she should be back. Then she is upset at you Ross. Better go say sorry now before we start filming." Raini tells Ross. "Yeah yeah. I've got 3 hours." He slouches in his chair. Raini punches his arm.

"Now. Go do it now." Ross sighs loud, of course on purpose. "Fine. I don't see the big deal. Why is she so sensitive? It's just a dress." Ross mumbles.

"She's a girl" Calum says. Ross chuckles while Calum gets punched in the arm by Raini.

Ross makes his way down the hallway. He arrives at Laura's door. "Here goes nothing" he says to himself. He knocks on her door. Waiting for a response. 2 minutes later still nothing. "Laura? You in there?" He yells through the door. 10 minutes go by and still nothing.

Though he hears what sounds like a "ugh." Ross rolls his eyes."Fine. I'm sorry Laura. I didn't mean what I said. Let me in?" Ross waits 5 minutes once again. He starts to get frustrated. "What do you want me to do!? I'm sorry! For gods sake it was a joke!" Ross yells.

From inside Laura's dressing room she hears what sounds like an alarm. But more of a persons voice. Her eyes flutter open slowly. She hears loud knocking, like a woodpecker or something. Jeez. Someone's angry Laura thinks. Laura slowly gets up and opens the door, to see Ross. "Can I help you?" Laura asks half asleep.

She opens her eyes a little more to see Ross's face. Fierce and angry. "Really Laura?" Ross asks. Laura is confused. "Yeah?" She questions. He shakes his head "You're such a pain" he storms away. "What.." Laura needs answers for that behavior..

Ross leaves to head back to Calum's dressing room. "How'd it go Ross?" Raini asks. He rolls his eyes. Ross tells them everything. "Whoa Laura is a bit sensitive." Calum says. Then Laura comes in the room.

"I am not sensitive..?" Laura crosses her arms. "But I do need answers.." Ross sits on the couch. "You're stubborn." Ross tells her. Laura gets frustrated. "Okay, I went to change into this dress and decided to sleep, then someone wakes me up to tell my I'm a pain and stubborn? Ross really what the heck!" She screams. Ross feels guilty.

"So you weren't angry about the dress thing..?" Laura's face slowly turns into a smile. "No. I just went to sleep." Ross feels really guilty. "Ohh... Uhh.. I'm sorry Laur. I didn't mean that stuff. I thought you were awake."

Laura rubs her eyes and yawns. "It's fine" Ross smiles, glad she isn't mad. "Go back to sleep. We'll wake you up." Ross points to the cushion on the couch near him. Laura smiles. She lays down on the couch, soon falls into a deep sleep.

"Shhh. Don't wake her up." Raini tells Ross. "C'mon, it's the perfect opportunity!" Ross pleads. "No, even if she looks really funny." Raini giggles. Laura was laying on the couch with her head hanging off upside down. "Just take a photo." Raini whispers to Ross.

He gets his phone out. "Instagram it" Ross said in a high pitched girl voice. Raini raised her eyebrows. Ross shakes his head no. "I'm joking." Ross says.

"Can I please wake her up now!?" Ross asks Raini. "Fine. We're about to film soon anyways." Ross does a victory dance.

He gets close to her ear. "Laura?" He whispers. Then he starts to laugh.

"LAURA!" Ross screams into Laura's ear. She immediately falls off the couch head first. "I'm coming mom." she mumbles as she rubs her head. She hears loud laughing. She rubs her eyes and sees Ross, Raini, and Calum all laughing as hard as they can.

"Thank you." Laura gets up. "Sorry Laur but it was so irresistible." Ross says between laughs.

"Yeah okay." Laura mumbles as she fixes her dress and hair. "We have to go to set now." Ross finally speaks up.

"Yeah. I know Ross." Laura sounded a little irritated.

She sighs. "I'm going to go to my hair and makeup. I look like a mess." Ross didn't want to say anything but he thought she looked really pretty.

Especially when she wakes up from sleeping.

"Yeah me too." Instead he says. "Me three." Raini says. "Me cuatro." Calum says. They all laugh and make their way to hair and makeup.

Saying bye to each other as the girls go to hair and makeup and the guys go to hair and makeup.

"Goodbye farewell" Laura says in her singing voice to Ross. He chuckles. "Farewell" Ross says in a British accent.
