"We HAVE to get out of here!" I yell.
"Shit! We're going to drown in here!" Donna says starting to freak out.
"Not if we don't start pushing on this damn rock!" I yell still trying to push the boulder that blocks the entrance. The water keeps pouring in from multiple different places in the cave. And it starts to gather in a pool at our feet.
We all begin to push but absolutely nothing seems to happen. And now the boulder is moist and makes it harder to push cause it's slick now.
I keep pushing though. That's all my mind is focused on. I begin to go to other places in the cave and kick the wall to see if there are any weak spots. There isn't.
"What do we do?!" Quinn yells.
I look down and see that the water is now up to our ankles. Thunder booms outside again, and I flinch.
"Maybe we can block where the water is coming in." Jackson says taking off his shirt and trying to plug one of the cracks. But there's too much water coming in and the shirt is too weak. Plus there's a lot of other cracks where the water is rushing in too.
"Were going to die in here!" Marley shouts. Both her and Donna are freaking out.
"No! I am not dying in this cold dark cave. We have to think of something." I say.
Albert still is trying to push the boulder out. He kicks hard at it but it still doesn't budge.
"HOW... DID... THE... BOULDER... FIT... SO... GOOD!" He yells, kicking each time between the words.
I stand in the middle of the cave watching every lose their freakin minds. Everyone is hitting and kicking at the cave walls. They yell and scream. And I just watch.
"Berry what are we supposed to do?" Megan asks.
Everyone stops and stares at me. I feel pressure like I'm some sort of hero that can get us out of this mess. The next thing I do shocks all of them. I sit down.
"What are you doing?!" Marley asks.
"I'm sitting. We're obviously aren't going to get out of here anytime soon."
"So we're just supposed to sit back and relax while this cave fills with water and we drown!?"
"I'm suggesting we sit and think this through." Everyone just stares at me blankly. "Okay look the water has already started to die down." I say. I look at the cracks which still have water pouring through them but not as profusely as it was a few minutes ago.
"I agree. It's not gonna help by panicking." Jackson says sitting down next to me.
The water is now up to everyone's shins and in mine and Jackson's lap. It's cool and refreshing on my legs. The cave is filling up like it's a pool filling up with a hose.
A million thoughts are racing through my head. Are we going to die in here? How are we going to get out of here? Who killed Charles? Who drugged us? What else happened last night that I don't remember?
Everyone else slowly begins to sit down realizing that we just need to stay calm. Marley and Albert are the only ones still standing and still kicking the walls of the cave.
"Well this isn't the first time I've almost died." Quinn says.
"Please explain." Jennifer says.
"It was last year. I had a big party and it was absolutely crazy. Well to make a long story short we did some bad drugs and I almost overdosed. Carley was there too and..."
