I try hard to move back using my arms. I can't get up fast and there's no point in trying to get up slowly. I sit there terrified. It's like my worst nightmare come true. A unidentifiable figure wearing a mask with a noose in their hand.
"Who are you!?" I shout at him (assuming that it is a him). I try to look for details that would allow me to identify who this is, but the train light doesn't give enough light to see very well.
My concussion doesn't allow me to do anything. It's hard to concentrate and it's hard to move. I'm waiting for him to come and put the rope around my neck and string me up in a tree above ground. But he just continues to stand there and creepily look at me.
I stare back petrified. What is he waiting for? If he's gonna kill me why doesn't he just get it over with. He's suddenly distracted with some noise coming from inside the small train. It sounds like it might be someone on a walkie-talkie or something. He hops back on. This is my chance.
I roll to my stomach and claw at the ground. I drag myself to the tunnel wall and use it as support. I get to my feet and I hug the nice cool tunnel wall. By now I'm covered in sweat and dirt and dry blood.
The figure comes back out and I begin to try and run. I stop though when he throws something at me. I look to the ground and see a container, like a box you would get at a restaurant. I look up at the figure and he nods. Then gets back on the train and leaves.
"What the hell?" I whisper to myself. I reach down to the box and lift it up. I slowly open it just hoping it's not a bomb or something.
The smell hits me and my mouth salivates. It's the delicious smell of bacon. And there's also a few Vitam leafs.
Why is this person giving me these helpful things but also killing people? I don't understand. Unless he like poisoned this or something. Well I guess we'll find out because I'm already shoving the bacon down my throat. You can tell that's it's not very fresh though. I also eat parts of the Vitam and I put some on the gash in my head too.
In minutes, I'm already feeling better. I begin to walk towards where the train went. Then I stop. Do I really want to follow this person? For the most part it's pitch black, but there's just a tiny hint of light coming from where the train went. I guess I'll just go that way and pray that I don't run into Noose again.
The light that I see gets brighter and brighter. I finally see where it's coming from, a hole in the tunnel wall. I climb through it and finally can see again.
I walk into a giant underground cavern. The light is coming from the hole high up above. The sunlight shines through. What am I supposed to do now? I honestly don't even know what I'm going to do at all. My brain is just crammed with questions I can't answer. What is my plan? How can I get out from underground? Where can I find more food? Where is everyone else? Is everyone else still alive? Who is this Noose person? Why am I even here? How am I supposed to escape Magnum Terram for a second time?
I sit down and cover my face with my hands. I breath hard and fast. I don't know what I'm going to do. This cavern is huge though so I guess I'll just start to adventure around.
There's some stone and there's some stone and there's some more stone. OH AND LOOK MORE STONE! There's nothing to look at in this cavern but stone. I'm losing my freakin mind!
But that's when I find something interesting. Dry blood. Lots and lots of dry blood. All over the place. It's looks like it's been here for a while and some of it looks like it's been washed away. Someone or something must have been really hurt. It's just in one specific spot. There's no trail of it or anything. Just one area where it is.
