An orange glow spreads throughout the forest as the Terrors approach with torches. By now we are all up on our feet, still soaked from the flooded cave, running in the opposite direction.

If the loud pounding of our feet on the ground hasn't given us away yet then I'm sure our extra heavy breathing will soon. We all gasp for air as we continue to run. But I notice that the Terror's chants aren't getting any quieter.

I look ahead and see flaming torches bobbing up and down. There aren't only Terrors behind us but there are also some in front of us. We're surrounded. I quickly turn to the right and start running in that direction.

The Terrors are rapidly closing in on us on both sides and I don't know where to go. I look around trying to find a solution but I have no success. I look behind me and immediately feel anxiety build up in my body. The group has been spread out and separated. The only person that follows me is Donna.

"Where did everyone else go?" I ask her.

"I don't know! I don't know!" She yells back.

My face is suddenly illuminated orange as the Terrors get closer with their torches in hand. I grab Donna's hand and run. But there's no where to run because there are Terrors everywhere it seems like. And they are getting closer and closer. I don't think we've been spotted yet but we could be soon.

"Over here!" Donna says. Pointing to a tree that has branches we can reach. We swiftly grab on to them and begin climbing. I get up on the first branch but Donna can't seem to get up.

"Come on!" I say kind of quietly because the Terrors are extremely close now.

"I'm trying!" She says. I reach down and grab her hand. I try hard to pull her up but she's too heavy for me. For a split second I think about leaving her. It's partly her fault that we're in this situation anyways. But I can't just leave her to be tortured and killed by the Terrors. I grab her with both hands and pull as hard as I can without falling. She finally hooks her leg around the branch and swings herself around.

After that climbing the tree isn't that hard. We make it up pretty far and then stand completely still, hoping that they don't hear us.

The Terrors chanting is now very loud and I realize that they are marching right under us. I hold my breath so they don't hear my breathing. Multiple of them have bows and arrows, spears, and other dangerous looking weapons. There's no doubt in my mind that they would kill us if they found us.

"STOP!" Yells one. There are about 50 of them under us at the moment and they stop dead in their tracks. This time I cover my mouth because they are literally right under us and could look up at any second.

"There's a footprint." Says the same one. "But where are they?" He says.

"Well they have to be here somewhere because we saw the smoke from the giant burning house yesterday afternoon." Says a younger looking one.

"Yeah no kidding." The older one says. "They are trespassing on our land and we won't stand for that. Spread out and search for them. If you find them just kill them immediately. We have no use for them."

Donna gasps and I quickly shove my hand over her mouth. I throw up my finger and put it to my lips signaling for her to shut up. She glares back at me with wide eyes.

"I'm sure they aren't anywhere close but just to make sure, you stay here." The older one says pointing to the young one. He nods and takes an arrow and sticks it on his bow.

The rest of them take off and the younger one stays put. Right under the tree that we are up in. I begin to look around and search for the others somewhere but it's too dark to see far distances. I look back down at the Terror.
