Thornes POV:

"Damnit Cress stop looking sexy"

Cress rolled her eyes and kissed the top of my head "behave yourself I'll meet you there"

As she walked away I yelled back "I'll try and see you then."

Dinner reservations were at six and it was five forty five. I hated waiting at the restaurant so I decided to pick up a little gift for her. I walk into some girly flower shop. Gross. Anyways I'd go above and beyond to make Cress happy. It's the best feeling in the world when her eyes light up.

I picked out a box of roses *image above*. Jeez these things were pricey. Never in my life have I paid forty six dollars for flowers but it's worth it for Cress.

I still had about twenty minutes so I decide to buy Cress some type of candy she loves eating. She says she's dieting but knowing her she'll eat it anyways. The time I leave a
the store and pull up in the parking lot it's six.

I see Cress pull up in her Mercedes. She steps out the car with a short dress that was super attractive by the way and glossy white heels. She kisses my cheek as I approach her "ready?" I nod my head, grab her hand and walk inside.m

"Thorne"
"Right this way"
Cress smiles as she takes her seat.
The wait comes by and asked us for drinks.
"We'll take two glasses of white wine please"
"Sure thing" the waiter hurries  off  and comes back with our drinks

Cress raised her glass "toast?"
"To what?"
"To us that we've made it this far"
"I couldn't agree more"
We clinked  glasses and took a sip.
Cress chokes by laughing "Carswell Thorne if you don't stop staring right now"
"I mean you shouldn't of worn such a showy dress and it's naturally where my eyes fall"
Cress rolled her eyes and giggles "what did you do before our date?"

I pull out the box if roses and hear Cress gasp

"They're beautiful Thorne oh my goodness"

"I mean beautiful flowers for a beautiful person.."

Cress smile grew wider when she read the card "the brightest flowers for the brightest star in the sky"
"It's true" I said smiling.
The flowers were a beautiful shade of light yellow and white. I decided to use that card because you know she used to work in space etc. *i can't remember LOL in the nook she was like trapped in a satellite & she did internet cyber security  it's a blur....*

Cress made a  cute faced and winked "what if I got you something too?"

"I would probably choke on my wine because you're a busy busy woman"

It was true cress worked about 60 hours a week I can't complain though relationships take compromise.

Cress laughed loudly causing some people to turn and got herself together "well here"

She handed me a small envelope it looked like it had some type of certificate in it.

I rip it open fast like how kids do in Christmas morning. I was shocked. Cress and I big made good money but we both agreed we'd never spend it on this.

"no you didn't!"

Cress nodded her head "I did. I found it reasonable well whichever price it was I was willing to buy it anyways"

I can't believe I have a new ship. My previous ones are still at the dock doing okay but this one was nice. "When can I see it?"

"After this it's ready!"

I was speechless "Cress I'm speechless"

Cress winked flirtatiously "it isn't the first time you've been"

I flushed "we're not going to speak of that Christmas party situation"

Our food comes and we finally eat. Cress reaches her fork over and cuts off a piece of my steak.

"If you wanted some why didn't  you ask?"

"I'm your wife  by all means you've drink out of my glass all the time"

"True"

We pay for the check and finally go out the dock.

"Cress it's beautiful"

"I know I've got all the newest updates and everything just for you"

I give her a hug and a kiss on the forehead "it means a lot"
"I know but could you do me one favor back?"
"What is that?"
"Okay in the way back home can we like stop by Victoria's Secret there's a sale and everything"

"I mean I can't really complain with that"

"Thorne you idiot their sale is on shirts"

"Darn.."

WELL THATS ALL! Kinda weird ending but oh well! It took me not too long to write this! I can't believe I did two chapters in a day! Please like,comment,share and request!
