Too Late

It’s too late,

Don’t you see?

Why won’t you just leave me be?

The clock has run out,

I no longer wish to doubt.

It’s too late,

For you and me,

So please just leave me be.

I wish to move on,

But you’re holding me back.

I need to get started on a new track.

It’s too late,

Just go away.

I want you gone today.

You are no longer what I need;

You are causing my heart to bleed.

I just beg of you let me be.

It’s too late,

Don’t you see?

It’s too late

For you and me.
