*I've been experimenting with other types of poetry. This time I tried an acrostic poem. Enjoy!

Nothing can take my smile away.

Expressing myself is hard to say.

Chronic pain does not leave.

Endure it I must.

Simple quiet summons me,

Settling all around.

Impressive it is when there is no sound.

Tonight I shall read, forget sleep.

Tomorrow I shall only weep.

Even though I cry, I will always be happy.

Entering another world gives a great rush.

Losing myself is nice,

Yet I must soon return to reality.

Demons shall not follow,

Again they will be left.

Yesterday was wonderful, but for now I’m here.
