Abandoned

I've been abandoned-

Abandoned by you.

You left me waiting here without a clue.

I was alone,

I had no one to phone.

I wandered into lands unknown,

Hoping one day the truth would be known.

I walked along

Singing a very sad song.

I've been abandoned,

I've been abandoned,

Abandoned by you.

You left me with lies,

And broken promises,

And yet I still find myself missing you.

I've been abandoned;

Yes it is true.

I've been abandoned,

And it's all because of you.

I'm all alone;

I wander and I roam,

All the while wishing I had my own home.

A home that came with you.

I've been abandoned-

Abandoned by you.

I'm all alone;

I'm not happy without you.

I've been abandoned,

It hurts that's it's true.

I just wished that it wasn't by you.
