Think of You

Why don't you ever leave me alone?

Every time I think of you

I pick up my phone.

I start to call you

But I stop with a groan.

I can't get you out of my head.

There's nothing I can do.

Why is it every time I hear our special song,

I start to think of you?

I want some peace of mind,

But it's hard to do, I find.

I want to forget,

But I keep remembering you.

I turn on the radio

To try and drown my thoughts.

Then our special song comes on

And I become distraught.

I can't get you out of my head.

There's nothing I can do.

Why is it every time I'm down and feeling blue,

I start to think of you?

Get out-

Get out of my head.

I've wasted enough time

And energy on you.

Quit clouding up my judgment,

I want to stop thinking of you.

Get out-

Get out of my head.

I'm done playing games,

I'm so over you.

Why is it no matter what I do,

My mind always starts to think of you?
