The boring history teacher, Mr. Linch, walked into the classroom, looked around, and seemed to be pleased that all of the students were in their seats.

Walking to the middle of the large classroom Mr. Linch announced, "Today, we'll be finishing up chapter 32, The History of Art."

Once he said that, I immediately, and as fast as I could, wiped away my tears and looked up, now that he has my attention, I quickly got out my notebook and started taking notes, maybe it wasn't going to be as bad a day as I had thought.

Before I knew it, I went to science, P.E. and then the lunch bell rang, half the day was gone. Every single student was eager to get lunch, mostly because the lunch today was spaghetti and meat balls with garlic bread, everyone's favorite.

I was at my locker putting away my ripped up textbooks and notebooks just as Liam approached me.

"Hey..." he mumbled.

I grabbed my paper bag lunch off the top shelf and shut my locker door, hesitant to turn around.

"Hi," I said as I turned and leaned against my locker facing him.

He was staring at his feet with his hands in his jean pockets.

"Um.. Are you still up to going to my house this afternoon?" Liam asked me as he went to lean on a locker still staring down at the ground. "Yeah," I said as I showed a crooked smile.
He looked up at me with surprise, "Woah! Wait, really?"

I nodded.

He smiled and said, "Great! I didn't think you'd want to come over to my house after, you know.."

I did know.

"I think I'm getting better, I'm not as upset as I was before," I said just before my stomach rumbled, "and I think we should go eat, cause I'm starving!"

We started walking towards the cafeteria as I remembered something. I told Liam about what happened last night, about the lamb and told him about my messed up room along with my phone appearing out of no where. Liam widened his eyes as he abruptly stopped walking.

"Liam? Are you ok?" I asked as I waved at him in the face and stopped walking too.
He blinked twice briefly and studdered when saying, "Y-yeah.. I'm fine. Just, remembered something.."

We kept walking towards the lunch tables and sat down at an empty one.

"Don't you have to get your lunch, Liam?" I asked him as I tore open my bag lunch.
"Na, I forgot my lunch at home and didn't bring any money to get food here," he said twiddling his thumbs.

I grabbed my ham and cheese sandwich and ripped it in half giving one half to Liam.

He hesitated to take it but I told him, "Take it. I have more food than I can finish anyway."

He nodded in acknowledgment and took the half sandwich. I also gave him my container of baby carrots to share. We were silent for the rest of lunch, just enjoying the food and when we were finished, I threw away the garbage and realized, I forgot my sketchbook in my locker.

"Liam, I'll meet you outside. I forgot something in my locker," I mentioned.

He said ok and went outside for recess as I walked back to my locker. I got there and opened my locker only to here my phone buzzing in my backpack. Who'd be calling me during school? I took a quick look around to make sure that there was no body around, and there wasn't. I picked up my phone and saw who was calling me.

I answered, "Hey, mom."

I whispered just in cause someone was around, though I douted that.

"Hello Lilian. Sorry to interrupt you while you're at school but I was wondering if you ordered anything online, that would come through the mail, a letter or something?"
"No mom," I said as I grabbed my sketchbook out of my backpack along with a pencil.
