I was woken by my dad ripping the blankets off my sweaty body. He often does that to wake me up instantly if it's necessary. I'm positive we'll laugh about it afterwards but at the moment I'm very annoyed. I shivered by the sudden change in temperature and turned over on my side ignoring my dad.

"Little Lady, you need to get up." He said as I covered my head with my pillow. Ripping the pillow away from me, he laughed.

"Come on Lils. You've got to get up. Be downstairs in ten and I'll make you pancakes." Once he said that I perked up now sitting straight in my bed.

I just loved pancakes in the morning, though I hardly ever ate breakfast. I opened my cream colored curtain to reveal what I thought would be daylight, but no. There was no light at all; only darkness.

"Um, dad. What time is it?" I asked sluggishly as I closed the curtain and turned to face my dad.

"Two a.m."

I let out an exhausted sigh and fell back onto my comfy bed.

"Be down in ten, Lils," he said as he pleasantly strolled out of my room and down the stairs.

I lied in bed for awhile savoring my last few moments of pure and utter laziness before I finally got the slightest amount of energy to get out of my bed. I flicked on my light, rubbed my eyes, and disappointedly looked around my trashed room.

Funny thing it is, that my room always seems to be cluttered but I don't actually remember doing it. I searched thoroughly around my horrible disaster of a room attempting to discover my trunk. I still needed to pack my supplies along with my robes and non-uniform clothes.

After a long and irritating five minutes of searching I finally found my trunk. It was lodged under my desk just to the left of the door, coming in. I yanked it out, put in my pass code that was right beside the handle, and threw open the lid to reveal that everything was packed for me.

"Huh... Interesting," I mumbled to no one in particular.

I closed it up and headed to my dresser that was located across from the end of my bed. I pulled out various clothing items from many of the drawers.

I put on a dark blue tank, black sweatpants with a single white stripe going down each side of the legs, and a pair of plain white socks.

Once I did that, and as I was nearly finished, I spied a gray pull over sweatshirt that would be perfect for traveling. I put that on and flung my tangled dark brown hair into a very, very messy bun.

I lugged my trunk down the stairs and dropped it with a loud, thud, by the front door. I leisurely strolled my way into the living room and saw that my mom was reading a book, all packed with her small amount of luggage next to the black leather couch, along with Noodle peacefully asleep beside her.

I sat down and gently nudged Noodle awake trying to pet her. She pawed at my hand signaling that she did not want to be disturbed. I left her alone and asked my mom a question, cautious not to annoy Noodle.

"Do I have to bring anything for Noodle? Like food, water, or a bed?"

"No, it will be provided for you. Did you pack all your things?" She asked as she marked her spot and put down her book.

"Well me, no. Someone else, yes. I don't know who though," I paused for a moment thinking of who could have done it.

"Well, it's packed and that's all the matters. Oh, and since we are on the topic of not bringing certain things, any student that is admitted to Hogwarts is not allowed to bring a phone," my mom said as she adjusted her sitting so she wouldn't sit on Noodle.

"What?! Why?! That's so stupid," I crossing my arms and looking away towards the bookshelf that was overflowing with unnecessary books piled on top of each other.
