Vixen Twenty-Six: Heaven

   Lei's POV:

  Agad kaming tumungo ni Rude sa stage nang tawagin na kami ng emcee.

  Dumiretso ako ng upo sa harap ng keyboard at siya naman ay sa isang high stool umupo habang hawak ang gitara.

  Then I started pressing the keys, as will as Rude on his guitar string.

"I've got a picture of your house
And you're standing by the door
It's black and white and faded
And it's looking pretty worn"

Umpisa niya sa part niya, then after a few moment I followed.

"See the factory that I work
Silhouetted in the back
The memories are gray but man
They're really coming back"

"I don't need to be the king of the world"

"As long as I'm the hero of this little girl"

Inangat ko ang paningin ko at tumingin sa crowd. Doon ko lang napagtantong may mga sumasayaw na pala ng slow dance sa baba ng stage.

"Heaven isn't too far away
Closer to it everyday
No matter what
You're friends might say"

Duet naming dalawa. At ito na naman yung pakiramdam na ito. I take a deep breathe bago ko kinanta ang secand part ko.

"How I love the way you move
And the sparkle in your eyes
There's a cover deep inside them
Like suburban skys"

When Rude sing his part, I scanned the whole open field while my fingers are busy pressing the keys.

"When I come home late at night
And you're in bed asleep
I wrap my arms around you
So I can feel you breathe"

Napakunot ang noo ko nang may mapansin ako sa madilim na parte ng garden. May nakahilerang mga punong-kahoy doon at kita ko ang hindi natural na paggalaw ng mga sanga't dahon ng mga ito.
