Hello everyone! I'm still here! I'm sorry I've been so bad at updating but I promise I am working on it! I lost my writing muse for a little bit and couldn't finish any stories, but after watching the Extended Cut, I'm back to being inspired!
This story is in 2 parts! This is the non-smutty part and the next chapter will be the smutty part, so if you dont like reading that sort of stuff, you can still read this one!
It is an extended version of the motorcycle scene which is new from the extended cut, so if you dont want spoilers, come back after you watch it! I hope you enjoy and feedback is always appreciated!
Also, if there are some spelling/grammar mistakes I'm sorry but its late here and my eyes are too tired to read through it all again! Sorry!
Harleen somehow manages to talk herself into finding The Joker. The results are not as either person expected
The whisky burned her throat as Harleen downed another glass. The feeling of the golden elixir in her stomach only brought a momentary feeling of warmth. Apart from that, her body was cold, empty. He was gone. He had left her to rot in this stinking hole. After all he had told her, all he had promised her an this is what he gave her?
Harleen took a swig from the bottle, forgetting the glass on the table. How dare he do that to her? How could he! Didn't he feel it too? They way the heat in the room rose when they were together, the electricity. She thought he did. She thought she understood him.
She couldn't quantify the way he made her feel. How he could make her skin tingle without even touching her. How her heart thumped in her chest when she caused his eyes raking over her body. The shivers, the blood rushing in her ears. He had a hold over her, a hold that her professional knowledge didn't understand. She knew she was all tied up in him. Trapped in the inexplicable web which was The Joker. It was wrong. It was sick. But there she was.
A sharp pain in her head brought her down from her love-induced high. Oh, thats right. Don't forget Harleen, that this man could have potentially killed you. The memory of that moment caused her to shiver. She could feel the electricity buzzing in her ears again. He had no medical knowledge, it was just luck that you survived the shock therapy at all.
But she couldn't even believe that. He knew what he was doing. He just wanted to punish her, to test her. To see how far he could push her before she snapped. The memory of the cold, hard table under her sent a shiver down her spine. Harleen wondered if the feeling was the same for him? If the memory of the table and the light were just as frightening.
She could almost feel the cold metal pallets pressed against her temple. The scorching heat causing her body to arch against the straps, her teeth grinding down on the leather. She could feel her fingers trembling with the energy being forced inside her, eating her up. Consuming her. He could have killed her.
So why did she feel so hurt when she had woken up in a hospital bed rather than in the back of his getaway car? Why did the thought of him leaving her bring tears to her eyes. She should hate him. She should have loathed him for what he did to her. For hurting her like that.
But she missed him. She hated being in here without him. It had been a week. She refused to let them keep her in that hospital. It was suffocating, everyone swarming around her, anxious to hear a little bit about what The Joker did. Some of them said he hated her and though she was dead. That he would come back to kill her if he ever found out. Some of them said he loved her, and was scared about how she would effect her. That was the rumour Harleen liked best. Some of them said he just wanted a piece of meat to play with before he left. Harleen wanted to scream at them. He didn't touch her! He wasn't like that. He would never hurt her! Not really... It didn't count....
