• Riley's POV •
I wanted to go into that garage and knock the crap out of him. I laid in bed. I heard Samantha shout and that's when I went into the living. I looked at the garage door which was open. I walked in where Samantha and James were dancing. He placed his hand in her hips. His hand went lower.
"Stop!" Samantha shouted.
"Come on babes, you know..." I cut him off.
"Excuse me." I walked up to him.
Samantha grabbed my hand trying to pull me back but nothing happened. I hit the dark place. I punched James in the face causing him to strick back. He punched me in jaw. I tacked him to the ground. Throwing punches at his face I was pulled away. Samantha stood. No emotion on her face.
"Get off of me." I ran out the garage.
"Riley!" Samantha called after me.
I went into my room, Samantha followed me.
"Stop." Her voice was sad, with a hint of guilt.
I looked her. Anger still sparking inside of me. She walked over to me and touched my face. Years formed in her eyes.
"Why?" She asked.
"He touched you...he touched what is mine." I turned from her. "I wanted to kill him."
"Riley." Her voice cracked.
Her chest pressed against my back as she wrapped her arms around me.
"Come out of the dark." Her voice was calm.
I closed my eyes. The feel of body. I wanted her so badly. I groaned and moved away from her. I sat down on my bed. She walked over too me and sat down next to me.
"You're the light to my dark. The reason I keep going everyday." I looked at her. "Because of you, I'm here now."
She gave a confused look.
"Back in middle school... A nerd boy was getting bullied. You walked over to him and told him to keep going. That life won't always be bad." Her eyes lit up. "That was me."
"Oh my god. I didn't even know." Her brown eyes widen with shock.
"Yeah, ever since then. I just loved you. All those girls. I used them to try and escape my feelings for you. They recently came back when my dad married your mom." He sighed.
"You love me?" Her eyes searched mine.
"Always have always will." I cupped her cheek. "I don't care what everyone thinks. I want...I need to be with you."
Her lips crashed against mine. I moved pinning her to my bed. Our lips molded together, moving in sync. My hand roamed up her stomach pressing against her breast. She moaned.
"We can't." She breathed.
"Fuck, I forgot." I sat up.

It's been week now, I'm going crazy. I haven't touched her. I need some sort of sexual contact. I was running late for class and Jessica came out of no where. She pressed her body against mine. I groaned with frustration. Fuck. Her body feels good on mine, but not better than Samantha's. She pressed her lips against mine. I moaned and pinned her against the lockers. Running my legs up her tight. Mm, just how I like it.
"What about Samantha, I know you and her..." I cut her off.
"Samantha is a nobody." I kissed her neck.
"Since I'm a nobody, treat me like one for now on. I'm just a nobody in the shadow of your fucked up world. I want nothing more to do with you Riley. I hate you!" Samantha shouted and ran off.
What have I done. I just lost the love of my life.
"Come on, baby. You're a free man." Jessica ran her hand down my chest.
"Stop. Don't fucking text, call, or talk to me. I'm done with you." I left the school hoping that Samantha was home.
I hopped out of my Rover and rand inside. I went to her room. My broke as I saw her balled up crying.
"Get out." She spoke through her tears.
"I'm sorry." I walked over to her.
"Get. Out." She shouted.
Everything about her was broken, and I'm the one to blame. I took a step forward and she throw a pillow at me.
"Do you not get it! I don't want you anymore. I let my guards down. I let my heart, my mind. Everything about me down. I thought you were different, I thought you changed!" Her tears became more violent. "Leave me alone."
I nodded and walked out leaving my heart with her. I didn't know what to do now. I laid in my bed daring not to cry. I failed. Tears falling down the side of my face. There was a knock at my door then it opened.
"My mom and your dad went on their honeymoon, they left us with enough money for a week or two. They said, no parties only two friends over." She sighed.
I nodded. Fearing if I talked I would end up crying again. She walked out shutting the door. Great. I'm stuck here with Samantha. Why am I such a fuck up. I left my room. Where does my dad keep his liquor at?
Once I found it I ended up getting wasted. I stumbled down the hall. I thought was going into my room but I ended up walking in on Samantha.
"Riley!" She shouted, quickly putting on her shirt.
"Heyy babess." I slurred my words.
"You're drunk." She rolled her eyes.
"I'm not." I walked over to her bed and laid down.
"Please get out." She sighed.
"I'm sorry." I sat up. "I never meant to hurt you."
"But you did." She wiped her eyes.
"Let me explain!" I shouted.
"I don't care that you kissed her...well I kinda do but what hurt the most is that you called me a nobody." She sniffed.
"You're not a nobody. You're the love of my life, Samantha. I don't care about anyone but you." I spoke truthfully.
"Do you love me?" She asked.
"Yes, I want to spend my life with you. I thought you knew?" I searched her eyes for answers.
"I need time, please leave." She sniffed.
I stood and walked to the door. I opened the door and stepped out.
"I'm not giving up on us." I said before I closed her door.
