CHAPTER 3 :
On a leash.
RECAP :
I slowly turned around. And what would you know.
It was the same scenario with the wolves all over again.
Execpt they were not wolves. Oh, I wish they were wolves.
Two people aimed their arrows at my face.
" They look pretty normal to me.. But what is with the pointy ears ?"

Excitment. Never in my life I thought I had that many excitment. Excitment can sometimes lead from happiness to a burden. That moment, with all the stuff that was going on, I would rather go back and try to lit up a bonfire.
I slowly put back my dagger onto the starp and raise both of my hands as a sign of defeat.
" Friends of yours? "
I said while turning my head slightly to Thorin.
" Not exactly. "
He answered. It was a simple reply but there was something in his tone that seemed like they did not exactly have the best relationship.
" Well ? "
" Well what? "
Said one of the archers. There were two archers. One was a female with long reddish hair. Her face also had an expression that you should not mess with. Also, I could of sworn that one of the dwarves was giving that archer a weird look. Kind of like he was gald to see her. Or suprised. Like what I was feeling that moment.
The other one, seemed like he was ready to shoot me in the head. He had long, light blond hair. If I did not paid much attention to him, I would of think that he had white hair. Like an old person. But, netherless, he did not look old. Quite young actually.
They looked normal. Normal height, and size, and nothing hairy about them. Well, I did not know because they were wearing a full guard attire. That looked strangly fimiliar. I hated when that happens. Something fimiliar and you just cannot grab it.
Anyways, there was something different. Their ears.
" Well, I seemed to made the right move. Why are you still aiming the arrow at me ? "
" Take of your scarf and hood. " said the lady guard.
Do not get me wrong, she was very beautiful. But, she seems not to be very gracious to me.
" Uh, I do not think that is possible. "
" Do you want to die, theif ? "
There it was again. He said ' theif ' as it disgust him. Well, I do not blame him. Theifs are not exactly the most noble job you can find.
" No. It is just I do not want to expose my identity to anyone I do not trust. Could you please respect that ? "
I was hoping they would understand. I took a chance because they look like people who respects other peoples decision. I was hoping oh so badly. I did not want arrows in my head. It will leave a bad mark.
