CHAPTER 8 :
Stranded.
To reprehend. It is either something noble or dissatisfactory towards someone. Some say they reprehend because it is for the best of us whereas others claim they reprehend due to their pleasure of seeing people getting depressed.
Why ? I have no clue.
I would not say that I had many experience getting critized.
But, for the sake of story telling ,
I would say that I still had a few experience being reprehended.
" Have you no brain Minvera ! "
I fiddled with my fingers. Another sign I was nervous.
" Look at me ! "
I looked a few feets below me.
What I saw was an angry looking dwarf.
" Y-yes Tho-orin ? "
I have to admit. I was pretty scared and didn't mind having a few orcs coming by.
Who knew the theif was scared with the dwarf ?
His expression soften a little. He pinches the bridge of his nose and let out a loud sigh.
" You have to understand. The lives of each and everyone that follows on this quest rests on whom Minvera ? "
I raised an eyebrow. Was he asking that question to make me feel guilty ?
I did a small curtesy and smiled at him.
" You of course, Thorin, the high and mighty. "
His knuckles went white instantly.
" You're mocking me theif ? "
I rolled my eyes.
" Honestly. You should control your temper. "
" I do not have a problem with my temper ! "
" Then why are you shouting ? "
" I AM NOT -"
" Thorin. "
A hand was placed on his shoulder.
Thorin cleared his throat. He had a guilty expression on his face.
" I apologise. "
I looked away. I admit, I was a sensitive person. I didn't want to look at the guilt that dwarf had.
" We should keep moving. "
I stood up on my tip toes and strated counting.
" Nine, ten, eleven.. "
" Two dwarves are missing ! "
Everybody started to panic.
" Who is it ? "
" Fili and Kili ! They're missing ! "
" Huh ? Where could they possibly be ? "
" They were with us weren't they ? "
" EVERYBODY PLEASE CALM DOWN ! "
I waved both of my arms madly in the air correspondingly.
Apparently that got their attention.
I brushed my fringe out of my face.
" Do you deal with this alot ? "
The royal dwarf just shurruged.
*sigh.* " Okay, when did you last seen them ? "
There was some rattling in the bushes. I stepped closer. The closer I got, the more I thought it was a bad idea.
Until,
I saw a pale, lifeless body over it.
It was Kili.
******************************
I've never seen a dying body in my life.
It freaked me out when I saw him, my companion, just lying there.
" What is it that you see Minvera ? "
I slowly turned my head around.
I felt really guilty. I didn't have the heart to tell them.
" Well ? "
I barely knew the dwarfs but I would pretty much confirm that they too, would freak out.
" You got a worrisome expression on you lad. What's wrong ? "
" They would know sooner or later. "
I stood up. My legs were still pretty weak.
When I wanted to move, I felt a tug on my leg.
A weak voice came across to me.
" I-I'm no-t de-ad.. "
I turned around to see that dwarfish smile on his face.
It was a long time since I hugged anyone before.
I guess I wanted to break that.
" Can't bre-athe.. "
"Oh. "
I backed off.
We were pretty far off from the group so I doubted that they would hear us.
" Is everthing okay ? "
Tauriel shouted.
" Everthing is just fine. "
******************************
Slap me. Please. I broke my promise. And I honestly didn't mean to ! Again, I'm reallllllyyyyy sorry. For everthing really. For this crappy chapter, for a super late one, for everything. To be honest, I hated every single day when I didn't write or post. I felt flipping guilty. Now, I won't promise anything. Anyways, please leave your thoughts. Please comment ! Thanks for reading <3
