"So, I have to be this doll?" he asked his four year old daughter. She nodded, handing him Prince Phillip. She didn’t care much about her other presents, this year she got all the Disney dolls and she was in heaven. Louis had dropped to the floor instantly, helping her dress each one and set up the castle. Neither of them had moved from the floor in hours. You were making Christmas dinner, carols and their laughter adding a nice backdrop to your day. "Daddy, be him!" Louis picked up Prince Eric and straightened his shirt. "Who does he love? Cinderella?" your daughter screamed in outrage and Louis laughed. "No, no he loves awiel," she said waving the redheaded doll in his face. "Right, right. I’m sorry little love," he heard your laughter from the kitchen and said, "maybe mommy wants to come play?" Your daughter screamed and you heard her little footsteps behind you. "Mommy come play, daddy doesn’t know anything," she said dramatically. You snickered as Louis walked into the room. "That’s cause mommy is a girl," he said petulantly stealing a freshly baked roll. You swatted his hand away and Louis let his gaze linger on your face. He couldn’t believe this was his life, that he was so blessed. "Does mommy want her present?" He asked, his arms coming around you from behind. You nodded, and you felt him slip a chain around your neck from behind. You looked down at the silver locket and felt your eyes dampen. It had both of your initials on it, and inside were two pictures. One of your wedding, and one of your precious baby girl. It was sweet and utterly a Louis gift, sentimental but still had that sweet edge. "Two of the most important days of my life," he said quietly giving your neck a kiss. "You’ve given me all I ever wanted and I could not ask for more. Not now, not ever." He kissed you, his fingers in your hair. "That’s true loves kiss," your little girl said, staring at you in wonder. "Yes it is," Louis said crouching down. "And one day, you’ll find someone who loves you as much as I love your mommy."
