Week Off
Liam: ”Tent pegs” you read out aloud, viewing the items that were scattered around the kitchen floor. “Check” Liam said and held a bag up in the air before you set a tick next to ‘tent pegs’ on your notepad. “Tools.” “Check.”- “Victuals.” “Check.” - “Extra clothes.” “Check.” … “And last but not least. The tent.” “Check.” You smiled as you tossed the notepad on the kitchen table and bend down to pick up your backpack. “Seems like we’ve got everything then.” Liam grabbed his backpack as well and you two begun to stuff the items into them until everything was stored. “Did you close the windows?” you asked Liam as you moved to the front door, taking a hold of your keys on your way there. “Yes, I did” Liam smiled and followed you, “I closed the windows, I turned off the lights, I pulled every plug and I checked the kitchen appliances. Everything’s done, we can leave now.” You cast one last glance inside before Liam closed the door, locking it and turning around to face you. “Are you excited?” he grinned and placed his hands on your waist while you slung yours around his neck, pulling eachother closer. “Of course. I get to spend almost a whole week with my boyfriend in a tiny tent with no one around, doing nothing but cuddling.” Liam chuckled. “Maybe we’ll find some time to do other things as well.” You smirked. “I hope so. I don’t want to have my lingerie taken with me for nothing.”
