Round in circles

"Nothing to do with Malviola." Dad says, after coming off the phone with Sherrinford.
I look up at him and know what he's thinking.
"He's dead though Dad. He shot himself, a bullet through the head. Right?"
"I faked my death, why couldn't he?"
"But you were there, didn't you check?"
"Of course I checked!"

I sit down, frustrated. I feel myself readying to lash out. Come on! Keep calm! Remembering an article I read, I grab a nearby stack of paper and rip it up.
"Hope that wasn't important. It was that or the mug." I state dryly.
Dad just hums in amusement. Mum or Danny are being threatened. Mum would tell me, we promised not to keep secrets. I know she would tell me, to keep Asha safe. It's Danny! What do I know about him?

Maybe I'll just talk to him... Probably not a good idea. Why would someone threaten Danny? I think back to the note.
The last patient is recovering. Do something or you'll become one.

So, what? A hospital patient or 'scientific' test. Either they tried to kill someone and they didn't die or a test went wrong and the patient has escaped? Either way, sounds like Danny has to kill them or he'll die. Delightful. I better do something quick. I'll just follow him on that tracker I put on his phone for the moment.
HOW DARE HE PUT MUM IN DANGER! Why Danny though? WHY? Why do they need him to do it? As far as I know he has no suspicious past, he's just your regular Joe. Maybe he saved one of the patients from a fire or something? Maybe they've got some kind of secret information about him? Or holding a family member captive? Last one is more likely, as Dad says: love is a much more vicious motivator. I need to contact all his family members and get as much information on him as possible.

Pulling out my phone, I text Mycroft, asking him for information and details for all family members. While I'm waiting I clear up the mess I made earlier.
I hear my phone go off.
Nothing... All family members are safe, absolutely no suspicious information about him.
I'm going round in circles, like a dog chasing it's tail.
