That Golden State Love- Klay Thompson Love Story

"He started it so I had to finish it."

The Warriors have been on fire since the season started. I can say that we are doing much better than last year. My baby Klay has been a beast this season. His best game was back in January when he scored 37 points in one quarter and had 52 in all at the game against the Sacramento Kings.

Flashback

Tonight the boys are playing the Sacramento Kings at the Oracle. This game should be really good because the Kings have a 5 game losing streak and they are going to want to prove themselves.

Klay had left earlier for practice and warms ups. I was getting ready to leave our house and go to the game.

I get to the game early so I can hang out with some of the players and Ayesha and princess Riley.

We sit and talk until the game starts. During the first half the boys were okay not their best. They were messing up on some of the plays we've ran multiple times during practiced.  Going into half time the score 56-51. I could tell that coach was gonna let them have it in the locker room. Before half time is up the boys come out to practice a bit. I go down to the court to have a quick talk with the boys.

"Guys. I don't know where y'all heads are at right now but y'all need to focus. This game is way too close and there's no reason why it should be like this. The Kings are good but y'all are better. So I need y'all to go out there and get this win. Okay? Warriors on 3. 1..2..3"

"WARRIORS!!" They shout back.

I go back to sit down and wait for the third quarter to start.The quarter starts and the boys still aren't playing that good but after a while they start to heat up. As they are playing I notice Klay making a lot of  shots and I start to get hype. He keeps going and he's making all his shots. The crowd is going crazy and I can not help but to start feeling there energy. The boys are making up many different plays to get Klay the ball. One of the things I love about this team was how unselfish they are, if they feel one of their teammates is having a good night they are going to pass the ball to them as much as possible. As the quarter goes on he's still making his shots and I start to jump up and down.

"Let's gooooo Klay!!!!" I start screaming and high-fiving the fans around me.

At the end of the quarter Klay has made 37 points with 50 in all and I am on cloud nine. I am so proud of him. They finish the game with 126-101 and Klay having 52 points.

When the game is finish I run to the locker room and attack Klay with kisses.

"That's what the fück I'm talking about Klay. Good job baby you setting records. I'm so proud of you."

He pulls me into a long kiss.

"Thanks babe. I just felt on fire tonight."

"You were on fire!"

"Thanks. Let me get change and get ready for the post-game interviews."

"Okay."

"And baby girl?"

"Yes babe."

"When we get home I'm tearing that ass up."

"Yes daddy." I say with a smirk.

When we got home that man put it down.

Flashback over

Today the boys are facing the Cleveland Cavilers and it should be a good game. The Cavs are a really good team. I am excited to see this game and I am excited to see my best friend Kyrie Irving. Over the years Kyrie and I have become really good friends after meeting at the draft.
