Hi everyone! So the picture of Austin Butler above is Scorpius. Don't forget to comment and vote! :)

"Do you reckon that we looked that peaky when we first got sorted?" Emma whispered to us as we looked at the first years waiting to get sorted. They all looked extremely young and had that scared, newbie look about them. There were a couple of kids in the crowd, who you could already tell what house they were going to be placed in. Some of them looked like they were a couple of seconds away from being sick while others were standing confidently, as if they already knew what house they would get.
"I'm pretty sure I looked worse." Alice whispered back.
I shuddered involuntarily as I remembered how shaky and frightened I had been. My knees had been shaking and so had my hands. I remember how much effort, how much willpower it took me to pretend to be brave and get up there. I don't pity the first years though; it's something everyone has to get through.
I looked over at Albus and Scorpius, who were sitting in front of us. Albus was much too interested in his quidditch manual to pay attention while Scorpius had that thoughtful look he usually got when he was thinking about his father.
His father.
The man my father hates.
The man my best friend doesn't want to end up like.Truth is, I've never gotten the courage to ask Scorpius about his father (just because I'm a Gryffindor, doesn't mean I'm always brave); I know that when he is ready to talk about him, he will. All I know about him are the stories that my father told me (which tend to be extremely exaggerated and hold very little truth).
I turned my attention back to the sorting but I couldn't help wondering about Scorpius and what made him hate his father so much.

Soon, the sorting was over and we were digging into our dinners. Alice was eating daintily, making sure to remember her manners while Emma and I were eating like total pigs. It's not that we don't have manners, we do but I happened to unfortunately inherit my fathers appetite while Emma happened to not care what other people think. This usually makes for unmannerly eating.
"Is it just me or does the food taste better than last year?" Emma asked as she took another heaping bite of chicken.
"Ish jush you." Albus replied as he ate, spitting food everywhere. I'm pretty sure he said it's just you but with Albus one can never truly be sure.
"No, no, Emma is right. The food tastes better." I said while piling more food into my plate.
"What? Albus is right. The food tastes exactly the same as always." Scorpius said, while taking a sip of pumpkin juice. We all turned our heads to face him. Until this point he hadn't said a word.
"Then your taste buds must be dead, Scorpius dear." I said sarcastically.
"My taste buds are fine, thank you very much, Rosie."
"Oh Merlin, what have I started." Emma mumbled to herself as she watched Scorpius and I debating the food. Notice how I said debating and not arguing, Scorpius and I debate but we never argue.
Albus put his head between his hands and groaned in frustration as he watched the rest of the "debating". Alice had long since stopped paying attention and was now vigorously writing what I presumed to be a story on a napkin.
This "debate" lasted for all of the main part of dinner. By that point Emma and Albus had started their own conversations. Once everyone had finished, headmistress mcgonagall elegantly swished her wand, and the dessert appeared on all four tables. All the students launched themselves at the desserts.
