A/n: Hi everybody! I'm so sorry for the lack of updates, but I'm back with this one. This one is longer than usual, which is why it took me so long to write, and let me just say that a whole lot goes down so you better get your popcorn ready. I hope all of you had a good Christmas or Hanukkah or whatever you celebrate. And on that note is anybody else looking forward for the end of 2017? Anyways, happy reading and don't forget to comment and vote.

It was the night of the Christmas party and although it was very unlike me, I was excited. But I was also nervous.
Emma, Alice, Nicoletta and I were all getting ready in my room.
"Pass me the hairbrush, will you?" Emma asked Nicoletta who handed it to to her.
As of right now, we were on operation fix the frizz. Some would call it an impossible mission, but Emma seemed more than confident that she could handle it. Of course I knew that she was kidding herself. My hair was beyond saving, but Emma was relentless in her goal to make my hair look somewhat presentable.
On the other side of the room, Nicoletta was doing her makeup. Next to Nicoletta was Alice who was straightening her hair, with some type of spell. It was a mess of everyone running against the clock to get ready.
"Ow!" I rubbed the part of my head where Emma had pulled at my hair. She swatted my hand away. "I thought the idea was to fix my hair not to make it worse."
"I can't help the fact that your hair is so tangled." She continued brushing my hair, not caring about the pain I was in.
"Yeah but you don't have to be so harsh. At this rate, I won't have any hair left."
"You'll thank me once you see the end result."
I sighed, but decided not to argue anymore.
"Is it bad that I'm kinda excited?" Nicoletta asked, changing the subject.
Alice shook her head. "No way. I'm excited too."
"Yeah and seeing Albus in a tux doesn't hurt either." Emma wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.
"Eww. No. Let's not talk about my cousin in that way."
Emma raised her eyebrow. "But it's okay to talk about Scorpius in that way?"
"No! I never said that!"
"But you didn't deny it."
"I-"
"You what?"
"We're moving on?" I meant to say it as a statement, but it came out more like a question.
"Okay, you're done." Emma finally released my hair from her grip. She put a mirror in front of me. "Here, what do you think?"
"Woah." I breathed out, not believing what I saw.
Instead of the usual frizzy mess that I was accustomed to seeing, I saw something entirely different. My hair cascaded down my back in gentle curls, and the frizz was no where to be found. To say I was impressed was an understatement.
"I know right? I'm good."
"I wouldn't go that far.."
"Oi!"
