So turns out my little sis ( she is 11 years old) wrote two poems for a school assignment. Actually, I'm proud of her but obviously I'm not gonna tell her that ;) So I thought why not share them with you?
P.S. Her rhyming is better than mine.

Beauty begins the moment
You decide to be
YOURSELF.
****
MOTHER
She cried out her heart
The day I was born
Made me my favourite tart
Whenever I was down
Became my light in the dark
When I was completely lost
Encouraged me in each step of my path
I didn't know then that she was,
Sacrificing so much
For the smile on my face
To see me happy,
Laughing and giggling
My mother is a very unique case
She is my idol,
The best at everything!

The Sky At Night
The sun goes to rest for a while
And the moon comes out to shine
The constellations in the sky
All smile, as I trace out the letters
Of a name that is mine
Glimmering in the dark
Like diamonds bright
Stands the 'Hunter'
With arrow and bow
Tall and strong in the dark night
While the 'Question Mark' looms low
Twinkling with lustre are the stars
Present as far as the eyes can see
So serene is the dark sky from afar
Strings of diamonds
In the night breeze...
