I'm tired of running, I'm tired of this. The tears are still pouring out of my eyes, I pull my phone out of my pocket and dial Austin's number.

"Hello?" Austin says.

"Austin I hate to bug you." I say whipping my tears.

"Wait are you crying?" he asks.

"Mhm." I say. "What I was going to ask is could you come pick me up? I'm stranded at the school sitting here crying like a baby." I said.

"Yes I'm on my way. What's wrong anyways?" he asks.

"I'll tell you when you get here." I say.

"Okay see you in a couple minutes." he says, I hang up. I sit on the bench outside of the school. A couple minutes pass and Austin shows up, I get in the passenger seat.

"So tell me detes." he says, and I raise an eyebrow. "Details." he says pulling out of the school.

"Oh, well earlier he told me to meet him outside the school so we can talk. So after school I walked outside and we started talking. Well he just started yelling at me and so I started yelling back. Then he said, well least I don't get a boyfriend after 2 second of a break up then I told him we weren't dating. Then he fucking called me a slut!" I say slapping my leg. "And everyone knows I hate being calling that, he really knows how to piss me off!" I say.

"Wow. So you didn't talk to him about getting back together." he asks raising an eyebrow.

"No..." I say. "I did say something to him that probably hurt him real bad..." I add, looking out the window.

"What did you say?" he asks.

"I said, I hate you. I never want to see you again, I don't want anything to do with you, I don't wanna be with you again." I say. "Then I started running away..." I say.

"Wow." he says, and I nod closing my eyes. "Yeah.. He must be pretty hurt." he says.

"I know, I feel bad too." I say.

"I'm sorry, but I'm dropping you off at your house then I'm gunna hang with Alex for a bit." he says pulling into my driveway.

"Thank you for the ride Austin." I say smiling at him and getting out of the car.

"Anytime Nicole, text me if you need anything. Bye." he says, I nod and I shut the door and walk inside my house.

Austin's POV*

I pull out of her driveway and I keep my eye on her. Andrew, Andrew is on my nerve right now. If he keeps it up, I swear I'm going to beat the crap out of him. I make my way to Alex's house, with my hand gripped to the wheel.

Who the hell does he think he is calling her that?

I pull into Alex's driveway, I get out of my car. I don't see his moms car so that means I can walk right in there house. I open the door and start to walk to Alex's room. I open the door and him and Becca are making out.

"Okay.." I say backing up and closing the door.

"Austin! It's safe to come in!" Alex yells, I walk in and sit at the comfy chair at his desk. "So what made you come here?" he asks.

"Don't know. Just wanted to hang with my buddy." I say spinning in the chair.

"So I don't need to be nosey but, are you and Nicole dating?" Alex asks. "Everyone is telling everyone and it's around the whole school." he says.

"No we aren't!" I say. "Whoever started this rumor I'm gunna murder." I say putting my head back.

"Did Nicole even talk to Andrew?" Becca asks.

"Yeah just a little bit ago." I say. "Speaking of Andrew where is he anyways?" I ask.

"My mom went to pick him up from the school." he answers.

"Oh." I say. "He called her a slut!" I blurted out.

"Wow!" Becca says, and I nod. It goes silent for a couple seconds, until Andrew and his mom get home. Andrew goes to his room and slams the door shut.

"I'll be back.." I say, getting up and walking towards Andrews room.

"What the hell do you want?" he snaps, and I out my hands in the air.

"I just want to talk.." I say sitting on his bed.

"Ugh." he groans. "What do you want to talk about?" he asks.

"I heard what you said to Nicole." I say crossing my fingers. "And... I didn't like it at all." I say.

"So. What are you gunna do about it?" he asks.

"I just wanna make sure it won't happen again." I chuckle.

"And what if it does?" he asks.

I look up at him and stare at him. "I'll beat the crap out of you." I simply answer, and he chuckles.

"You wouldn't do that." he says. "I'm your best friends little brother." he says.

"So what does that have to do with it?" I ask.

"Alex would be mad at you." he says shrugging his shoulders.

"Well I did tell him what you said to her." I say.

"Why is she so dramatic?" he asks.

"Why are you such a dick?" I ask. "Oh wait... How could you be something you don't have?" I say shrugging my shoulders.

"Ah!" he says tackling me off the bed, my back hits the floor instantly sending a pain through my body.

Andrew brings his fist in the air and brings it down as hard as he could. My head shot pack, blood pours out of my nose going on the floor. Now I have a reason to punch him, I wrap my hands around his neck and turn us so he's on the floor, I let go of his throat and lift my fist up and throw a couple punches in his face.

He lays on the floor groaning, I get up and
begin to walk out to door. But before I can even get to the door and leave Andrew jumps on my back.

He pulls me back and pushes me to the floor. I smash my face off the hard wood floor.

"Ah!" I yell, putting my hand on my nose. "You broke my fucking nose!" I say.

"Good I was trying to." he says.

"Once I get my fucking hands on you, I swear you'll be in a hospital bed covered in bandages." I warn him. I walk down the hall way groaning.

"Alex, I think your brother broke my nose." I say putting my head back.

"What?!" he says.

"Ya we just got in a fight. He did it worse though, he did the first punch but I only punched him once." I say. "Hey I think I'm gunna head home." I say.

I walk downstairs and out the door, I get in my car and quickly drive home.

"Mom." I say.

"Austin what happened?!" she asks rushing over to me.

"Andrew punched me in the face." I reply.

"Wow! Let's quickly get you to the hospital to check it out." she says as she pulls me outside in the car.

"Okay Mrs. Mahone, Austin has a broken nose." the doctors says writing stuff down. "Tell me what happened." he said.

"Well... I was at my friends house and I fell and did a face plant into the floor." I lie.

"Okay well I have medicine for you and you should be all set." he says leaving.

"Why did you lie?" my mom asks.

"Well I didn't want him knowing what actually happened." I shrug. The doctor gives my mom my medicine and we leave and head home.
