JESS' POV:

"To Dad,

It's currently five A.M. and the Lynch's are going to be here to pick me up any minute now. I'll be on the tour for a while so you won't see me around. So yeah bye.

-Jess"

I re-read the short note I wrote for my dad, nobody wanted to wake up early to say goodbye to be so I wrote them a note, not that they deserved it. Then I went outside and waited on the front porch. A couple minutes later I saw the Lynch's car pull up outside my house. I got up and pulled my suitcase to the car. Ross had gotten out to help me load it into the trunk.

"Good morning!" He greeted me.

"Someone's extra cheery this morning." I noticed.

"I'm just so happy that my bestest friend is coming with us." He winked. I gave him the look.

"Right." I said slowly "So are you high?"

"Just high on life." Ross laughed before grabbing my hand and pulling me into the car. I was met with a chorus of hellos.

"Hi!" I chirped "Is Ross ok?" I stuck my tongue out at Ross.

"He's just happy." Riker smirked. Ross immediately reached over and hit his older brother. I narrowed my eyes at the two of them. What was going on? I soon forgot about Riker and Ross when one of my favourite songs ever came on the car speakers.

"Oh my god! Oh my god! Turn it up!" I exclaimed.

"Calm down." Said a half asleep Rocky.

"You're no fun." I joked which earned me a half hearted middle finger from Rocky. I just laughed it off and started obnoxiously singing to "Miss Jackson" by Panic! At the disco, despite it being really early in the morning.

"I swear to god I will kick you off the bus if this becomes a regular thing!" Ratliff yawned angrily covering his hands with his ears. Ross and I spent the rest of the car ride annoying the rest of the half asleep band members with our peppiness. The second we got to the airport Ross and I jumped out of the car, grabbed our suitcases and skipped to security, leaving everybody else to slowly follow behind.

"Ross?" I asked.

"Mmm hmm." He answered.

"Why are we so hyper? It's like five-thirty in the morning."

"I honestly have no idea." He laughed. Apparently Ross and I had been louder than we thought because people started to notice that Ross Lynch was in the same room as them. People of all ages started coming up to us asking him for pictures and autographs. One of the last people in the crowd was a girl, she was probably around twelve years old.

"You're Jess Duncan right?" She asked me after getting a picture with Ross. I slid my eyes to Ross and silently said

"Why does this girl know me?" He must've understood because he shrugged.

"Yeah I am." I smiled at the girl. "But um how do you know that?"

"There's a big group of r5ers that know you're Ross' best friend and think you guys should start dating. I'm one of them." She smiled sweetly.

ROSS' POV:

Oh no. The girl brought up the Ressie shippers. I knew about them and I have to admit I loved it, but I never told Jess because I was afraid of how she would react. And my fears came true when she said

"Me and Ross?" She laughed "I'm sorry but me and Ross aren't going to get together. I have a boyfriend and Ross, Ross will probably end up dating some Victoria's Secret model." I felt my heart crumble and fall. Jess just said it, it was never going to happen.
