Ross
"ROSS SHOR!" Mom screamed at me. Soon Ratliff and Rydel were replaced with no other than Sunny and Blank.
"Whaaaaaatttttt," I groaned, rubbing my hands on my face, "Don't tell me that I'm giving up on a great girl and I'm letting her run out of my life literally-"
"You're giving up on a great girl, Ross! AND you're letting her run out of your life LITERALLY!" Mom expressed with her hands.
"Cue the disappointed dad and we'll be all set-"
"Son," my dad crossed his arms over his chest, "I'm very disappointed in you."
"And now my turn," I sighed, sitting up and running both hands through my hair. "Listen, Dad, Mom, I have undesirable feelings for her. And I felt like forever had come and the rest of my life would be with her. But things," I exaggerated sloppily with my hands in the space around me, "are just complicated."
That seemed to silence them, because I could see the worry lines on they're heads increase as they were in deep thought.
"So, what you're saying is you're letting the rest of your life slip away in forever aloneness?" Mom worried, putting my hand in hers and patting it with her other.
"You know what they say, 'if you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you, its yours,'" I quoted, alternating our hands to where I was patting her hand.
She slipped away and they both started walking out the door, but something stopped my dad. My mother disappeared, but he still remained half way through the door. He turned his head to look at me, his eyes pained, and sighed.
"I'm not saying that I see you in any other way, son, but I really think you're an idiot," and with those wise words, shut the door behind him.
And that information kind of sunk in until I fell asleep.

Riker
Carissa's cold slobber landing on my arm woke me up. A smile stretched on my face as I removed my arm from around her, but it didn't help her snoring. I tried to get up, but it was no uses as she threw her arms over my body.
"What's the point in getting up if you're going to pin me down?" I chuckled and watched her bed head rise up from beside me.
"Staaaay," she commanded and jumped out of bed. She pulled on her hoodie and jogged to the door.
"Stay!" she told me again before leaving quietly. I laughed and everything got quiet for a moment.
Notice how I said moment.
I heard a blood-curdling scream and someone running in here. The door opened and closed quickly to reveal a laughing Carissa. She jumped back on the bed and snuggled into my side.
"Riker! Protect me!" she squealed as the door was practically ripped off its hinges.
"Now, Hannah, be rational-" but Hannah was no where near rational. She took rationality, stomped on it, and threw it out the window as she pounced on Carissa and I.
"CARISSA, YOU DOOF! I HATE YOU!" she screamed at her as the rolled around on the bed some more. Carissa sung R5's version of Love Me in attempt to get her to calm down, but made Carissa burst into fits of laughter.
Then I noticed as I got shoved off the bed that Carissa must've dumped water on her head, because Hannah's hair was in little wet strands.
There was a loud thump! on top of me as the laughing girls fell to either side of me.
"Hannah, just because I fell asleep on the couch last night doesn't mean you can just come in here-" Tyler started his rambling, but he never finished as he stared at me.
"Tyler! Um, I brought Carissa home. And you should know Riker," she jestured towards Carissa and I. Carissa and I stood up and I drew myself up to my exact height as I towered over his small frame.
"Hey, man. I'm Riker, sweet room," I held my hand out my hand for him to shake. Instead of taking my hand, he put his adjourning hand on the hip he just cocked.
"Seriously, guys? Who is this dude? Some crazy look alike? Alright, come on now, where are the cameras? Hannah, Carissa, don't try to fool me here," Tyler exasperated, sputtering all the words out like a clogged hose that still continued to push dirt out.
"This isn't a prank, girl-boyfriend," Carissa leaned down to him, "this is the real Riker Anthony, and he is my real boyfriend."
Tyler stared at me in disbelief. Then he stepped right in front of me, and waved at me to stoop down. I did, and let me tell you, that mexican wannabe had some grip for a twelve-year-old.
"Listen here, buddy. You better not have touched my XBOX 360. If you touched Patricia, I'm gonna smoke you so bad-" he only got as far as waving his puny fist in my face before Hannah pulled him back.
"TYLER, NO ONE WANTS TO HEAR YOUR STUPID SAP STORY ABOUT HOW MUCH YOUR STUPID XBOX MEANS TO YOU," she yelled at him.
"PATRICIA IS MORE THAN JUST A STUPID XBOX!" Tyler yelled back, taking a position that made him look like a chicken with bubbles for eyes.
"STOP YELLING!" Carissa yelled, sick of it all like I was beside her.
"GEEEEETTT OUUUUUTTT," and with one push and one line, Tyler got us all out of his room.
"Talk about PUSHY!" Carissa screamed at his closed door, but he blasted Nickleback in reply.
"Carissa, I think we should get going," I turned her to me. She nodded and with sad eyes turned to Hannah.
"We'd love to stay, but we promised Stormie we'd be in Colorado by tonight," she sighed as she enveloped Hannah into a hug.
"Okay," she sighed and stepped away, "thanks for everything guys."
"We'd do anything for you," I stepped up, hugging her and kissed her forehead, "call if you need anything."
"I will," she smiled as I let go. We grabbed our stuff and left the homely home, but I knew for sure we'd be back.
I felt it in my bones.
