Well that explains a lot.

It'd been two weeks since I'd seen Dan, and I hadn't got any texts off him and he hadn't replied to mine. Strange. I'd started to get quite worried, knowing me. As I looked out the window and sighed, Ava said "Don't worry, he's probably just been busy, you'll see him soon". "Yeah, but what if he doesn't like me anymore? What if I've done something to piss him off? Oh no. What if he's like seriously ingured?!" I panicked. "Just forget about it, he's in a band Em, he'll be busy." Ava reasoned. "Ok." I sighed. "Good. Right, how about we go to the cinema to take your mind off this?" she asked. "Yeah, that sounds good!" I replied and we got ready to go. But as we walked to the door, there was a knock. I opened the door to find a shivering, soaking wet Dan. Without thinking I ran up and gave him a massive hug, which now I think probably seemed really strange, but oh well, I now know he wasn't seriously injured. "Hey, can I come in?" he giggled. "Yeah sure, I'll just go get a towel. Ava, take Dan into the living room." I said, running upstairs to fetch a towel.

I came down and handed the towel to Dan and he rubbed the towel on his head, making his temporarily flat hair bounce up into his usual messy quiff/ afro look. "So, where have you been?" I asked him. "Well, I lost my phone just after you left the other week and then my car went and broke down so I couldn't come to see you. In the end I couldn't stand not seeing you any longer so I just ran down here..." he blushed. "Really? Wait... in the rain? Oh, Dan you shouldn't have, you;re gonna catch a cold or something!" I replied. Coming in from the kitchen, Ava asked, "Well, I have a feeling you'd rather go the cinema with Dan right now, am I correct?" I thought about it before answering, "Yeah, if that's ok Ava?" "It's fine! As long as I can stay round here, it's cosy in your flat and you've got netflix." she replied. "I suppose..." I said, and I drove Dan to his house to get some dry clothes.

When we got to the cinema we realised there wasn't any good films on, so we just went to the starbucks next to it. We sat down and I said, "So you really missed me, huh?" nudging him playfully. "Yes..." he replied getting really embarrased. "If it makes you feel any better, I missed you too" I said in a soppy voice. We both started laughing until we'd forgotten what we'd actually found funny and the barista told us to quieten down a bit. After a lovely afternoon, laughing, joking and talking we walked out of  Starbucks and it was pouring down with rain so Dan grabbed my hand and we ran round dancing and laughing, we must of looked like a right pair of idiots, but it was one of the best days I'd had. He then pulled me in to him and kissed me, I was quite dissapointed when he stopped as he was such an AMAZING kisser. I'd never tell him that though, obviously.

We got in the car and I drove him back to his house. "Message me on facebook till you find your phone, ok?" I said. "Ok" he replied kissing me on the cheek before getting out. Just as I was about to drive off, he opened his door and waved his hand in the air, holding his phone. "Found it!" he shouted, smiling. I smiled back at him and gave a thumbs up before heading back home.
