It was Thanksgiving Day and Simon had insisted that Ralph and Jack join him and Roger at their apartment for the feast. Ralph gladly accepted this since then he wouldn't have to go through the trouble of cooking up all that food. Jack, however, was a little disappointed that they wouldn't be spending Thanksgiving alone together this year. He had planned on making it a romantic night for just them. Have a nice dinner together (which Jack would have made for once with a tiny bit of help from Maurice), have some wine, and cuddle a little on the couch while watching a movie. Guess that'd have to wait until Christmas, thought Jack.
The couple headed up to the second floor where Simon and Roger's apartment was. Ralph had made and brought a small pudding pie, feeling like he should at least make something for the occasion and not leave all the work for Simon. They stood in front of the door and Jack knocked on it for Ralph who held the pie in both hands.
Seconds later, the door opened. Simon stood in the doorway and smiled happily when he saw the two. "Hey Ralph! Hi Jack!" He greeted. "Come in." He stepped to the side.
The two walked in, greeted by the smell of turkey. Simon shut the door after them. Immediately, Roger came jogging up to Jack and exchanged a friendly hug with him. They then began to dive into a conversation of choir and gruesome horror movies.
Ralph rolled his eyes at them and smiled before handing out the pie to Simon. "I made this for us all. Hope you and Roger like it."
Simon took the desert into his hands, smiling widely. "Oh! That's very sweet of you, Ralph. Let me go put this in the fridge. You go make yourself comfortable."
Ralph smiled and walked to Jack and Roger who sat on the couch. He sat down next to Jack. The redhead instantly felt his presence and wrapped his arm around him. Ralph leaned into him as he kissed the top of his head. Roger grinned. "Aren't you two cute."
"Shut up." Jack smirked, pushing Roger playfully with his free hand.
Roger laughed. "How long have you guys been together now, anyway?"
"Uhh..." Jack thought for a moment. "About three years now."
"And four months." Ralph added.
"Geez, I remember when you would talk my ear off about Ralph." Roger snorted.
Jack flushed. "I did not!"
"You totally did! It was always Ralph that, Ralph this, and oh, did you see how cute Ralph looked today?" He mocked playfully.
"Tch, please. Like you were any better. You talked my ear off about Simon. Always went on and on about how cute he was and how great his ass looked." Jack chuckled.
Roger grinned. "Well...he is adorable. And his ass is pretty fine."
"You're gross." Jack teased, grinning slightly.
"Not gross. Just a man with needs." Jack laughed, rolling his eyes as Simon walked back in. "Babe!" Roger motioned the small male over. "Come sit for a minute."
"But I have to keep an eye on the turkey." Simon spoke.
"Come oooon! Just for a minute?" Roger pouted, giving Simon the puppy dog eyes.
Simon smiled and laughed a little as he walked over. He sat on Roger's lap. "Okay. But just for a little bit."
"Yay!" Roger smiled and wrapped his arms around Simon's tiny waist, his lips attacking his neck.
Simon laughed happily and shook his head before looking at Jack and Ralph who snuggled close together. "So what's been going on with you two?"
Ralph spoke up. "Oh, not much. We might go out to dinner for a late Thanksgiving with my family tomorrow."
"Oh, that's nice." Simon smiled.
"How about you guys?"
"Well it's not official yet. But Roger and I have been thinking about adopting a child soon."
Ralph grinned. "Really? When?"
"Hopefully sometime this summer." Simon nodded, smiling widely.
"Daddy Roger. Huh, I can't wait to see that." Jack grinned at his friend.
Roger rolled his eyes and smiled. "He has a serious case of baby fever. So I thought maybe we should try adopting one. We've been together for five years now and we make good money. So why not?" He shrugged.
Ralph smiled. "Well that's great. I can't wait to see them."
Simon nodded and grinned. "Neither can I. Are you guys thinking about adopting a child soon?"
"We haven't talked about it, actually. But I suppose if the opportunity came, we would." Ralph said, looking up at Jack. Jack smiled in response and pressed a kiss to his lips.
A ding went off suddenly, causing Simon to jump up and off of Roger's lap. "Turkey's ready!" He announced as he went off into the kitchen.
The three young men walked into the kitchen and took a seat. On the table was a bowl of mashed potatoes, a plate of cranberry sauce, a plate of sweet potatoes, a bowl of stuffing, and a small basket of biscuits. Simon soon placed the turkey onto the table and sat down at the table himself.
They began to fill their plates with food. Jack's and Roger's plates had a bit of everything while Simon and Ralph started out slow by having some turkey, some mashed potatoes, and a biscuit. As they ate, Jack spoke up as he chewed on some turkey. "Hmm...this is good. But I still wanna know why it's a turkey for Thanksgiving and not a pig."
"Or a chicken. But I'd rather have pig than a chicken or turkey." Roger agreed.
Simon and Ralph laughed in unison. "You two and your pork." Ralph teased, grinning at them.
"What? Pork is good!" Roger grinned back.
"Hell yeah!" Jack grinned now.
"No wonder you guys are best friends." Simon chuckled.~
After having their dinner and desert, the couple's now sat on the couch, stuffed with food. Jack and Ralph snuggled close to each other, pecking each other on the lips every now and then. Simon sat on Roger's lap, earning kisses on his neck.
All four of the boys had to admit; this was a pretty nice Thanksgiving.
