Nate pulled into the fields outside the building, as he and Matt practically jumped out of car while it was still moving. Matt pounded on the door. "I can't get in!" He shouted.

"The door's kind of weak... stand aside." Nate stepped back and rammed into the door a couple of times. The door broke down.

"Nice job." Matt said. The two men ran in, only to instantly find themselves lost in the darkened hallways. It was the middle of the night, so of course they couldn't see outside, let alone inside.

"Go slowly." Matt said. They felt their way along the walls, looking for something.

"Matthew?" Asked a voice.

"Jason." Matt stepped back, ready for a fight.

"So you remember now. You know, at first, I was scared of you remembering, but now... now I think you're anything but happy about remembering." He said.

"At least I know what I'm fighting for." He said.

"And... do you remember the true reason why I'm doing this, then?" Asked Jason.

Matt's eyes went wide, giving a small gasp. Jason laughed. "So you do remember." Jason said.

"Matt... remember what? This is all about hashtag blame Jason, right?" Nate asked.

"Of course it's not. Don't get me wrong, that didn't help much, but there's a much bigger reason." Jason chuckled. "You broke me, Matthew. You broke her."

"Broke? Broke who?" Asked Nate.

"Go ahead. Tell him, Matthew." Jason said.

"Matt?"

"It was two months before we got onto the deep web to look for him. Jason and I were having a disagreement, to put it lightly. His fiance was there, and she tried to stop us from fighting... but then... my arm swung out... and knocked her down the stairs. She broke her neck while falling." Nate stepped back in shock. "I killed his fiance. It was quickly written off as an unfortunate accident, and it was kept fairly quiet in the media, but... I guess that's why you're doing this, isn't it, Jason?"

"Exactly. So either a life for a life... or a wife for a wife. Who is it going to be Matthew? You, or Stephanie?" He asked.

"You can't expect me to make that decision." Matt said.

"Fine then." Nate and Matt heard the sound a gun reloading in the darkness, then, in the dim lighting, they could see Jason emerge from the darkness, the gun pointing at Matt. Jason had gotten all the way up to him, the barrel of the gun pointing into Matt's chest.

"Are you going to kill me? Go ahead, shoot." Matt taunted him, knowing that if he was going to die anyway, he might as well go out fighting.

"Wrong. The correct awnser is, I could never kill you Matthew, you're the best boss ever." Jason smiled sinisterly. He slowly turned around to face Nate, giving a grin. Matt snapped into action instantly.

"No!" He shouted.

Bang!

There was a bullet in Nate's stomach.

Bang!

There was a bullet to the left of Nate's chest.

Bang!

There was a bullet in  the center of Nate's chest.

"NO!" Matt screamed. He ran over to Nate's body. "Hold on, hold on, it'll be okay."

"M..." Nate mumbled.

"Come on, stay with me. Goddammit, stay alive, Nate!" Matt shouted.

"I..."

"Nate, please. Please, please, please, stay awake." Matt was almost in tears. "Please..." He begged softly, holding one of Nate's hands.

"Christ...in....a" He started to drift off. "I... see.......... y....you...." Nate's eyes started to close.

"No, no, no, no, no!" Matt yelled. "Nate, stay with me! It'll be okay! We'll get you some help and-"

"Ch......Chris.....tin......a." Then, he was gone.

"NO!" Matt screamed. It had happened. Nate had been killed. He was dead.
