"Yes!" Stephanie whispered to herself. She had gotten both hands out of the binds and was ready to go. But suddenly, Matt shoved his way into the room, landing on his face. "Stephanie!" He yelled, seeing her sitting there.

"Y-you! You're... that guy!" She shouted.

"That guy? Oh, right. Nate told me about your amnesia." He stepped closer. "But... I remember you. I remember everything now. I can fix this." He laughed, a little relived. "But first, we have to go." He grabbed her wrist, trying to pull her away, but she pulled back.

"No! Watch out-" Then, there was a click. Matt froze in place. Then, he looked down at his feet. He was standing on a small panel, that had now been sunk into the ground. "He put a pressure bomb there." She said, eyes wide.

"I'm standing... on a bomb. This could not get any worse-"

"Don't say that!" Stephanie cut him off, as they started to hear beeping. "Oh no."

"It's on a timer anyway?! How did Jason even put this together?!" Matt yelled.

"What do we do?" Stephanie asked.

"Okay, we have one shot here. Either we can try to disarm it, or... you can run." Matt said.

"N-no! I'm not just going to leave you here!" Stephanie said.

"I'm standing on a bomb. If we can't disarm it, I will die, no matter what. That doesn't mean that you have to die, though." Matt explained. "And considering that we don't know how long the timer is, we don't have long enough to get through the floorboards carefully so that we don't detonate it."

But Stephanie wasn't going carefully. She was risking it. She rooted through the desk drawers, finding a, thankfully loaded, gun. She pointed it a good distance away from the pressure plate. "Cover your ears." She said. Not having a choice in the matter, Matt obeyed, squeezing his eyes shut as Stephanie shot the gun. She hastily tore apart the floorboards from the small hole, reaveling the bomb, but there was a problem. The problem was that it was covered up by a metal box, welded together poorly. The bomb must have been covered by it before it was activated.

She stood up. "I'm so sorry." She said. "I can't fix it."

"Hey, hey. It's okay." Matt paused. A tear formed in his eye. "I love you." He said. "Now run. Run!"

Stephanie, having no other choice, did as she was told as she bolted for the exit, finding the body of Nate along the way. As the ran, all the thoughts of her lost memories and new ones faded and clouded around in her head.

Mark... Mick? Mike? Mack? Michael? Her eyes snapped open, bringing her to a stop, right before the open door to the outside. She hesitated for a second, but then... she ran back into the building. All the way to the office.

When Matt saw her, he almost screamed. "What are you doing?! You have to get away from here!" But instead of running, Stephanie went right up to him... and kissed him. Pulling back, with a smile on her face and a tear in her eye, she said one thing to him as the beeping sped up.

"Matthew. I love you, Matthew." She said.

Suddenly, there was white.

And then, nothing.
