===Hiccup===

I dived down to the ports and said to Toothless, "Bud, blast the ports." He did and the ports were completely destroyed. I also had Toothless sink the ships along with it's cargo. As I was evading all the flying grappling hooks, bolas, nets and arrows, my heart sunk to the pits of my stomach and my breathe caught in my throat as I witnessed the scene before me.

"HEATHER!" I screamed, my voice filled with so much fear and worry.

Windshear was bound with metal grappling hooks that is being pulled down. What's worse? Heather is caught in them and its choking the life out of her. I could feel my eyes stinging with tears, and the anger I felt puffing out of me.

"Toothless, we have to save them." We dived down. I circled around, trying to find an open spot for me to fire at. "Blast the chains, Toothless. Now!" He blasted them and........ nothing happened. Not a single scratch on the chains.

"Heather was right. They are Dragon-Proof." I said to myself. 'I need a different approach.' I thought as I evaded another round of bolas, nets, grappling hooks and arrows. I ducked down and glided under their sight lines to get close enough to Heather. I looked at the chains, and my eyes trailed to the winches attached to them. They were made of wood.

"If we can't blast the chains, blast the winches." I ordered my best friend. "Fire!" I screamed and Toothless blasted the chains. They loosened up and Windshear was free. But, Heather...........

Her eyes were closed and she slid off of Windshear's back. Reacting quickly, we dived down, and I caught her before she could hit the water. I had Windshear follow us closely and we headed back to our island.

The whole flight as she lay in my arms, the scene a while ago kept replaying in my mind. The grappling hooks, binding her and choking her to death. She slid off of Windshear, completely unconscious. My heart broke into a million pieces. When I caught her, I felt tears pooling in my eyes. And in that moment, I realized, I don't know what I would do without her.

I held her close to me, and nestled her head against the crook of my neck. She's still breathing, thank Thor. But, she's still out of it. She needs the rest. We reached the island and landed gently on the campsite. I lay her down on the soft grass, with her head resting on my lap. I leaned back to the tree behind me and took a deep breathe. I reached for a saddle bag and pulled out an apple and a canteen of water. I quickly dug in and tossed the core over my shoulder as I returned the canteen to the saddle bag.

As I was beginning to relax my still agitated nerves, I started stroking her soft, rosy cheeks. A gentle and sweet spring breeze wisped through the air, and the gentle crashing of the waves could be heard from the campsite. The birds singing softly amongst the trees, and the grass dancing gently against the wind.

I soon dozed off at the serenity of my surroundings. My hand was resting on her cheek as the other is laced with her hand. The next thing I knew, I woke up to the same position as I fell asleep. Her head was till in my lap, my hand against her cheek and the other grasping hers. She was still asleep.

I smiled at her peaceful figure and looked up to the sky. It was streaked with pink and orange clouds that looked majestic against the blue sky. It was already sunset. I looked around and saw a huge pile of fish next to a loudly snoring Toothless and Windshear. They were laying so close to each other, with their wings wrapped around each other and their tails intertwined together. I smiled at how adorable they both looked.

I felt Heather stir in my lap. I looked down at her and saw her eyes open to reveal two stunning emerald pools that I could get lost in forever. She looked up and gave me a sweet yet sleepy smile.
