He sent a slap so forceful, that I went flying towards the wall. My shoulder hit up against the wall and I slid down with blood dripping out of my bottom lip. "I-I gave it to him like you told me to!" I yelled to him.

He walked over to me with anger evident in his eyes. He made the cocaine himself but bought the LSD from some old friend of his. And I gave it all to Effrin but he was on them just as much as Effrin, maybe even worse and as time went on, his drug abuse was really starting to show.

"Then how come you still have two tablet's of the LSD left? And an entire capsule of the cocaine left! I told you when I gave this shit to you this morning that you were supposed to use them up by the end of the day! You ruined the entire plan! Do you know how far this is going to set us back?" he asked, getting up in my face.

"I'm sorry! I was going to give them to him when he got back to the trap house but he never showed up. I waited for hours and hours but gave up when he never showed up!" I yelled. "How long was I supposed to wait on him when you wanted me back here by a certain time?"

I guess my tone of voice was getting a little too reckless for him again, because he smacked me again, shutting me up. "Look I don't give a damn. You're gonna have to give these to him and the rest of them."

"How? I don't even know where he's at!"

"Find him!" He yelled in my face.

Once he let me go, it was dark outside. Hardly anybody was out on the streets except for Effrin's boys, who were still selling and just loitering around a liquor store around one in the morning. They were just the people I needed to speak with though. I crossed the street and walked up to Jason, who was speaking with some other girl, probably some dirty prostitute begging for a fix or something. I pushed the girl out of my way and stood in front of Jason.

He bit his lip and looked me up and down like some piece of meat. I hated how this nigga looked at me but I never said anything because I wasn't trying to get on their bad side. I needed to be the down ass bitch who was down to do anything, so they could accept me. It was part of my job description, to get them to like me, to get on their good side and to get them to trust me. I mean they accepted me but I wanted them to fully trust and accept me without any doubts of me fucking them over in the end.

"Damn, what brings you to my neck of the woods?" He asked, taking in every curve on my body.

I smiled. "I'm looking for your friend."

"Which one?"

"Your boy, King," I replied.

I convinced Effrin that Smiley wasn't the name for a nigga with as much power as him. He needed a strong name to go along with his strong image, so King was the name we chose for him. King screamed power and authority, while Smiley just whimpered childish, but the name reminded him too much of his past and that's what I'm trying to get him to shy away from. His past is what's dragging him down and if he ever wants to move further with his business, he's going to have to let every aspect of his past go, including his old name.

"Oh him, he went over this broad's house earlier but he might be back at his crib right now. So check there. You tryna chill when I'm done working?" he asked me.

"I'll think about that," I said, walking back to my car.

I rolled my eyes as I climbed in and immediately drove off to Effrin's house. I had only been here a few times but every time I came over he always kept me downstairs but tonight I was going upstairs. I had to do whatever I could to help bring him and his business down, it was my job. Once I got to his house, I saw his car parked outside. I sighed, thanking God that he was here because I don't know if I could take another beating from the other guy. I walked up to his door and knocked on it. He opened it up a few minutes later with a black eye.
