Chapter 11

Melissa's POV
This morning I woke up with someone yelling at me. I looked up and saw my mom. " Melissa, why is there a boy in my living room?" I groaned and went back to bed. But my mom didn't budge." You didn't care before, why start now." I simply said.

She was shocked with my response and pulled me to the living room. " Who is this?" She said." That's Tristan my friend." At this point she was really pissing me off so I said," You know what for all this time, you guys all went on a trip for modelling.

But you didn't once call me mad I bet you didn't even know I went to the hospital and how about you. Your supposed to my sister. Thanks a lot guys." And with that I grabbed Tristan and went outside of the door.

When we were out of my house. I just stood there and glanced at the sky. Why did fate have to make my life like this? I cried. You may think that I always cry, but I can't help it. I just have all these emotions boiled up inside of me. Tristan came over and hugged me and comforted me.

This is why I like him so much." Where does this leave us?" I asked innocently." It leaves us wherever you want us to be. You can be my girlfriend." He smirked." Ok." I answered and then he kissed me. Sparks flew, the little tingles and the shiver on my spine were comforting. That night I had one of the best sleep in my life.

Melissa's POV
When I woke up I had a smile on my face. It didn't matter that my parents were back, just by seeing Tristan automatically makes my day. Seeing as I was so happy and it was a Sunday, I decided to meet up with Tristan. I asked him when we were going to meet and he said 6 pm and said it was a date. I squealed in excitement. Words couldn't describe how excited I was.

Meanwhile...
Sophie's POV
I texted with Marco yesterday and he said that he is going to take me on a date. I also heard that Tristan is going on a date with Melissa. Sigh how did we get so lucky by the time I finished getting ready, the doorbell rang. I opened it and saw Marco holding a bouquet of red roses.

I was so touched. He's so sweet. I'm so lucky. Today is our one month anniversary. I wonder he would remember. Well, not much people actually think that these kinda days are important. He took my hand and led me to his car.

When he was driving, we started talking. I could tell by the lol on his face that he was nervous. What could he possibly be nervous about. He is perfect. When we arrived, I saw it we were in the park. He led me behind a tree and we sat down watching the sun set. It was so romantic.

" Do you ever think about us in the future?" I said stupidly." Never mind I take that back. I mean I meant I uhh you know...." I rambled. I was cut off with a peck on my face. I smiled as I looked at him." I do." He said. I blushed.

He was so loving. I hope he asks me to homecoming. At that moment it was perfect. All of my dreams from when I was young came true. I knew he was the one for me and though we haven't been together for long, it kinda feels like it has been years since we got together. Could this be true? I don't know what fate has in store for us but I hope it keeps us like this.

Melissa's POV
It's now5:45 and I'm super nervous. I only have 15 minutes to get ready for my date. I dressed up a little more casual. I mean I don't wanna look like I'm too dressy. I wore a light blue coloured  shirt with a pink skirt. Thousands of questions popped into my mind.

Will he think I dressed alright? Where will he take me? Just as questions popped into my mind, the doorbell rang. I gathered up all my strength and opened the door. I saw he was wearing a grey shirt with  blue jeans. " Are you done checking me out?" He said while smirking.

I snapped out of my daze and blushed while looking down on the floor. He lifted my chin up and my eyes and his eyes met." Don't hide your blush from me, you look cute." He's so sweet how did I get so lucky. Though I didn't have the best family, I am still thankful for fate letting me to have great things in this world.

Fate made my world like this. This was its purpose. It took away the good in the beginning of my life from my parents just so that I can meet someone like Tristan. Fate works in weird ways. That's why no one's life is perfect.

We need to cherish every moment especially the moments with our loved ones, like him. He made my world, lightened my day even when the darkest cloud was on top of me. As we were riding the car, I stared at the window. Tristan said that he would surprise me on where we were about to go. He got out of the car and said," We're here. You wanna know what we're doing here, we're going on a treasure hunt."

I squealed I loved treasure hunts ever since I was little. I found all the pieces and he told me to flip it over and follow the order of the numbers. I placed all the pieces together and then he said to stand up look from where he was standing.

I did as i was told and when I looked, it said 7 words. Will you go to homecoming with me? I ran up to him and hugged him and said" Yes. Yes." Then he lifted up my chin and kissed me. That moment was so romantic. He was just so lovable. When we pulled apart, I breathed heavily. That's when he said something that changed my life." I love you, Melissa Jane Carter." I froze and then snapped out of my daze and kissed him.

Though I didn't say it back, I knew that deep down side I felt the exact same way. He needed me and I needed him. All was good.
