Chapter 17

Melissa's POV
When I woke up I saw Tristan right next to me. I tried thinking of what the words Tristan said. But after all the thinking all I remember and came up with was the words " I shove you " It's so strange, why would he say something like that.

Trying to forget about last night's blur, I got up and decided to make breakfast. I made two sets of bacons and eggs. One for me and one for Tristan. By the time I finished making breakfast, Tristan had already woken up. " Hey, Mel" he said. And I nodded in reply.

I looked at him in the eye and thought about whether we would still be the same. " Mel, we need to talk. About last night." He said. " Can we not ? " I asked. He sighed, " We have to." I really don't want him to break up with me. I want everything to go back the way it was. Why was my life so messed up? Why me? Why couldn't I be the one that was perfect?

Tristan saw that I didn't meet his gaze. So he lifted my chin to make me meet his eyes. His eyes spoke a thousand words and made me calm. I know that this may be the last time that I will ever get to look at his deep blue ocean eyes. He took my hands up to his. Our fingers intertwined together.

He said, " I'm not breaking up with you." At that moment there was a sudden sigh of release from me, but guilt started to fill me." Why?" I questioned. " you could do so much better than me Tristan. I feel like I am keeping you behind in this world. I don't deserve someone as amazing as you are. Look at me I'm worthless." I concluded.

He looked at me and said, " You are not worthless. You are worth more than a mine full of gold. You are worth than the worlds largest diamond. You are worth more than the universe itself. You know why ? Because I love you ❤️ " I was so shocked that I froze. He continued." I love you to the moon and back. Words can't describe my love for you. You don't have to say it back if you don't want to. I just wanted you to know that I love you."

I looked at him and again stared into his ocean blue eyes. He has been with me throughout thick and thin and never once has given up on me. He gave me hope. When the whole world decided to shut down and lock me out, he was there right next to me soothing me. Taking away my pain. And though it has only been awhile since I met Tristan, I think it is safe to say that I love him too. I smiled and directly said," I love you too."

~ Two weeks later~
It has been two weeks since we said our first I love u's. These past few weeks were very eventful. Me and Tristan are now back together and he still loves me as ever. Life was just starting to get better. Sophie and Marco are still as cute as ever.

At school, everyone calls us the " it couple " and though I still get glares from Claire and her friends, life couldn't get any better. What more could I want? I have gotten everything that I have ever dreamed off. Tristan was the spark of my life. I'm at the peak of my life.

But you know that feeling that something is not right and that you feel like your being followed everywhere you go, that is exactly what I'm feeling.

Unknown's POV
I'm waiting for the right moment to do it. I love her so much. Everything that I did was for a reason. We are definitely a meant to be. She is mine and only mine. I don't want to share with anyone at all. There is a totally good explanation as to why I did that.

The only reason why I did that was because I just wanted to scare her and tell her that she was mine and only mine.

Flashback
Me and her are walking down the park when all of a sudden some loser guy starts talking too her freely like they were besties and I didn't like that. Of course my possessive side was taking over and I instantly started to form a plan. I would make her stay with me forever and ever.

End of flashback
The only reason why I broke up with her and hooked up with Claire is because I wanted to make her jealous. But the plan went a little out of hand.

Sophie's POV
I'm meeting Marco again. He said he has to talk to me about something. When I first heard that I thought he was going to break up with me, but when I calmed down, I knew that I had to face this.

I got up to get ready to face him. I just hope he doesn't break up with me. We were meeting up at the park. When I saw him he was sitting on a bench waiting. When I came over and sat right next to him, he realised I was beside him.

We started making conversation until I thought it was time for me to ask him what he was going to tell me. " So why did you tell me to come here? What did you want to tell me?" I said. Eager to know what he wants to tell me.
He sighed." Sophie, I wanted to tell you that..." I budded in," Wait! I want to tell you something too." We we're both caught up in between who would say what they wanted to say first that was until we both yelled it out at the same time.

" I love you." We both said. We looked at each other in confusion than realised that we both said the same thing and that we were both nervous about it.

We looked at each other. He cupped my cheeks and kissed me. It was a slow and soft kiss that I never wanted to stop. We both stared at each other's eyes and said," I love you."

Hey guys! It's been ages since I posted. It's just that life at school has so much work to do that you would not believe it. So, I hope you like this chapter. Just a heads up that this book is almost done.
