"Princess Luna." A maid called out to the 16 year old princess reading in her large library. The white haired princess closed her book to face the maid. "Yes?" She asked politely. "Here you should at least eat something princess, you haven't slept for two days. What is in those books that have you so captivated?" The maid asks setting down a platter of the princess's favorite foods. "It's the history of people like me. And besides you know I have special duties at night, I hardly ever sleep." Luna replies. "Ah just like your mother." The maid paused after realizing what she just said. "It's fine. I know they would be proud too." Luna told her. "You always know what I'm about to say. Goodbye princess try to get some sleep tonight." The maid said walking out of the room.

"Yeah. Just like mom." Luna says to herself.

"Reading more about the Elementals." Another voice asks as they enter the room. A cloaked figure with a blonde braid hanging on her shoulder. "Of course I am, I have to find all of them soon." Luna sighs. "The dark magic creating these demons is getting stronger. And I know she'll only get worse." Luna opens the nearest book to her and begins to read again. "It wasn't your fault Luna." The voice says standing behind her. "Artemis. I would like you to train extra hard, make sure no one is as good as you." Luna says as Artemis stands there confused not saying a word. "I do have to choose my royal guard soon remember." Luna says turning back to face her books. Artemis understands and bows to the princess taking her leave. Once she left Luna turned to a picture sitting on her desk. A picture of her when she was younger, standing next to a friend. The two were very close to each other, and cared for each other deeply. Luna hung her head low her eyes full of sadness. That friend was gone, and she feared that soon she wouldn't be able to bring her back.
