"Okay, what if we stall the unplugging," Mulligan looked at the rest of the group. They had been sitting in Laurens' room for a few minutes thinking things over. They needed some solution. This was quite the scenario they had on their hands.
"How do you think we can manage that," Lafayette looked over at him. He wasn't sure it would do anything but give them more time to come up empty.
"We could figure out something," Peggy adjusted her ponytail. They had come to the conclusion that they had nothing that would work. An entire body was a much bigger deal than a hand. They were out of luck.
Hamilton was being quiet while they talked. He was terrified. He wasn't sure how he got to be in this position. One minute he was looking at Laurens and the next he was Laurens. He had no clue how any of this came to be. Hamilton was almost afraid to say anything. There was no way of knowing what any of this was doing to Laurens. He could only hope that it wasn't hurting the poor boy.
"Are you okay," Peggy leaned a little to be more in his line of sight. She had been observing Hamilton zoning in and out since they got there. She still couldn't tell if something was wrong but she did feel it best to ask.
Hamilton nodded, "I'm fine." He wasn't certain whether or not it was a lie. He could feel something coming but he wasn't sure what. It was the same gut feeling that came to him when there was a storm on the horizon. The hands that he had control over were cold but Laurens always has cold hands this time of year. That was one of the many things Hamilton noticed.
Still, Hamilton found his gut feeling growing stronger. He couldn't ignore it any longer. There was no room in his mind for paying attention to the conversations around him. Something was very wrong. He just had to figure out what it could be. That, of course, was the problem. How was he meant to figure this out with everyone here. Hamilton knew he was stuck in this bed so there was no getting out. He had to come up with his own list of options to figure things out. Surely his friends would be able to come up with their own plan if he stood to the side.

An hour had past and it was clear that Peggy was feeling some anxieties. No one could blame her, Hamilton only had six hours to get out of Laurens and back to his own body or she could possibly be done for. It was likely that the amount of coffee she was consuming wasn't helping her calm down. Aside from that, mostly everything was still the same. No one had any answers.
Hamilton looked up as he heard laughter coming from the hall. Looking up anytime something happened had been becoming somewhat of a habit. It was seemingly harmless but it was something to do. He still couldn't shake the feeling that something big, possibly bad, was about to happen. It was nearly driving him crazy trying to think of what it could be.
He left his eyes on the hallway. He could hear the people getting closer. Hamilton wasn't certain as to why he was so interested until they passed. He could t believe it, this was something they almost hadn't thought possible.
Peggy looked over as a rather aggressive sneeze came out of laurens' face. "You alright," she half giggled. She wasn't about to deny the honest fact that Laurens had always had a funny sneeze.
"I think," she watched him blink a few times, "I think so."
"Laurens," Peggy said it almost as if it were a question. She wasn't sure why but she didn't think Hamilton was in there anymore. It was something in his eyes and the specific ways he spoke. She did consider that he hadn't said much but it was enough.
"Yeah," he looked over at her.
Peggy thought of something to say quicker than she originally anticipated, "that's good to know." As soon as the last sound left her mouth, she shifted her look to Lafayette and Mulligan. They also didn't seem to have a complete grasp on what was happening.
"Woah," Laurens whispered as his tossed something in his hands. "Pegs, check this out."
She almost didn't believe what she saw. He was holding a bullet. However, it wasn't just any bullet, it was Hamilton's item. It was the bullet that killed him and followed him through every life. She wasn't sure why Laurens had it or how it came to be in his hands but she knew she had to check on Alexander.

All she could do was hope for the best as she waited for the elevator to reach the correct floor. It seemed to be moving as slow as it possibly could. When the doors finally opened she made her way to Hamilton's room. Peggy wasn't sure what she was expecting as she approached the door. Part of her had not expected to find Hamilton still laying there in a coma. She wasn't certain about what part of her disappointed, nothing they had tried before worked.
Without leaving the room, Peggy still managed to hear conversations that were happening in the hallway. Despite the other sounds around the area.
"Thomas, this is serious," Angelica was doing her best to be quiet but she was a little worked up. It was unusual for her.
"It's not that big of a deal. I'm sure it's happened before," Jefferson almost seemed to brush it all off.
"It's her son. I don't know what I'm supposed to tell her here, you have to help me," Angelica sounded like she was really asking for his help. Peggy didn't expect that, Angelica was usually well equipped to handle things in her own.
Peggy took a moment to think about what her sister had said. It was made clear to her that the conversation was about Eliza and her son. So far, they didn't think that any children coming back was an option. They had never been found before, they considered it impossible. If Hamilton had spotted Philip, that may be what caused him to leave Laurens. Peggy had finally figured part of something out. All she had to do was find Hamilton's ghost.
Finding Hamilton was something that always sounded easier than it was. She figured it was likely that she could find him with Philip but that was its own task. He could be anywhere. Clearly, Angelica knew where he was but Peggy thought it may be awkward to ask. She wasn't even sure how to begin an approach to something like that.
There was the possibility that Hamilton could show up back where Laurens was or that he could come back to his body. There were a number of options, Peggy wasn't sure where to start. She decided that she might need to speak with Lafayette before making any sort of call on this matter. Philip being back was important and Peggy was excited to see him but that would have to wait.
As she turned to leave the room, the unexpected happened. She could hear the machines going off before she could catch her breath. Peggy felt both Angelica and Jefferson rush by her. Not only was Hamilton suddenly awake, he was also chocking on his breathing tube.
