Hamilton couldn't sleep. It had been almost three weeks since they realized that Laurens should also have a dream that predicted the end of the world but it still hadn't happened. Well, at least not to Hamilton's knowledge.

"Go to sleep," Laurens mumbled with his face on the pillow. He knew that Hamilton stayed awake.

"I'm just checking on you," Hamilton tired to come up with something better.

"It's bedtime," Laurens plopped his arm over Hamilton, "time for sleep."

--

There was one date that rolled around quicker than anyone expected. There was a week until the wedding and everything was ready. Hamilton was finally getting sleep and everyone had almost decided that the world wasn't going to end. Everything was almost okay.

"It's kind of almost funny," Hamilton finished. He had decided to explain everything to Laurens. He didn't ask if anyone else thought it was a good ideas, he just went through with it.

"That's one big coincidence," Laurens tried to look like he was in a better mood than he was. He had experienced a few dreams before but he never said too much about them. He didn't think they were all that important but now they definitely seemed important.

"Yeah," Hamilton nodded, "but we don't really think that's going to happen anymore. There haven't been any other signs or anything."

"So, you don't think the world is on the edge of destruction?" Laurens raised an eyebrow as a bit of a joke. Now wasn't the time to think too much about his dreams.

"We think we're okay," Hamilton smiled.

--

"You what," Peggy stepped out of the way to let Laurens inside.

"I didn't think that it was a big deal and now it is. I'm a little freaked out here Pegs," Laurens leaned against the back of the couch. "What do I do?"

"Okay," Peggy rubbed her face in an attempt to clear her head. She almost thought that whatever Hamilton-driven roller coaster she had been on was finally over but she was wrong. "You just, I don't know, forget about it."

"Forget about it? I just got told it's the end of the world," Laurens was possibly overreacting but he wasn't sure what the appropriate thing to do was in this situation.

"Maybe it is and maybe it's not. Laurens, you're getting married in a week, that's what you should be focused on right now," Peggy wasn't sure that her advice was any good but it was still better than nothing. "We'll figure it all out after you're married, alright?"

"I guess so," Laurens nodded with a sigh. It wouldn't be that long of a wait. He didn't want to dress Hamilton out by being any of this up just yet. Peggy was right, it was probably better to wait until after the wedding stress was over and dealt with. He had to assume that the world would stay together long enough for him to get married, that was the best he could do in that moment.

--

Hamilton was anxious. He was ready for this day to finally come but he was still nervous. He was finally going to marry Laurens. This was fantastic.

Laurens was also anxious. He still couldn't shake the idea that the world could completely end soon but he was more focused on not tripping up his words.

They both had quite the day ahead of them but no one was overly stressed about it. Everything was planned and things were set up to run smoothly.

--

Hamilton sat on the hood of the car and rested his head in Laurens' shoulder. They were married. They were happy. Everything was almost too okay but that could bother him later. Right now they were sitting together and with all their friends. That was all Hamilton wanted this moment to be. Everyone was just happy to be together, it was as if things had always been this way. Nothing in the world could destroy this moment.
