Roses are Red

"What flower is this?" I asked the man. I turned to get a better look at his face. "Droy!"

"Hi Natsu. Let me guess, for Lucy?" he guessed.

"You guessed correctly."

"So are you looking for anything in particular?"

"Umm...roses," I said, not knowing any other flower. Droy showed me many flowers in a variety of colors. "These aren't roses."

"Yes they are."

"But they're orange," I argued.

"Roses come in a multitude of colors," he said.

"Haven't you ever heard of, roses are red, violets are blue, I'm right, you're wrong, so screw you."

"That's not even how it goes."

"Ye-"

"Listen, Natsu. I think you should try something else."

"So like, I different flower?" I asked.

He shook his head, "No, not the flowers. Maybe you should get her something else. As much as I love flowers, unfortunately flowers die. Get her something else like uh... a book! Levy chan loves books. Plus Lucy and Levy chan are friends. Isn't she also writing a novel?"

"Hmm... okay!" I agreed, even though I knew he was just trying to get rid of me. Besides, a book is not a bad idea. Lucy had tons of those things in her apartment. "Thanks Droy!"
