"Let me Laugh Again" Book 2 V Fanfiction

2 - A Getaway? Perhaps...

      V was looking out the window of the lecture hall and watched the clouds roll by. 

      He was thinking about Min-ji and the afternoon they spent together. Though she almost died, she still looked stunning. His heart was tickled when he heard her laugh. She didn't seem to be a person who laughed a lot so he was thankful that she was smiling at him and looking at him intensely. His heart soared when they talked about a possible couple name. 'We could be a couple though- seriously...' he smiled again as he remembered her eyes when he noticed movement in the corner of his eye.

"Hey!" Kim Soo-jin's smile blinded him and left him speechless for a second.

      "Uh – hey!" he replied shakily. "What's wrong?" Soo-jin asked him. V laughed, "Oh – nothing...how are you?" he asked, relieved that his voice sounded normal again. "I'm fine, see?" she said as she held up her arm. "Sorry again..." V said with regret. "It wasn't your fault. There's nothing to forgive..." Soo-jin replied.

      V nodded thankfully and turned to face the professor when Soo-jin whispered, "Hey, are you free this Friday?" V was stunned. He wondered why Soo-jin wanted to know so he answered, "Uh, sorry no. We have a group schedule..." Soo-jin's face fell so without further thought, V blurted out, "Uh but I'm free tomorrow..."
      She then smiled a pretty smile at him, "Great! I'll meet you at Dalcomm Coffee before 4:30, okay?" she the straightened in her seat and never looked at him again during the lecture. V smiled back but she kept looking straight at the professor, 'What just happened?' he felt a wrongness about the situation but he wasn't sure about what it was so he shrugged it off and tried not to sleep through the lecture.

      V was thankful for another uneventful day at school so he was happily singing in the shower when Jungkook opened the door, "Yah! A little privacy here, Jungkook-ah!!" he yelled. Jungkook just stuck out his tongue as he went back out. 'Sheesh!' he muttered. 'I wonder how Min-ji is doing?' he thought. He missed her even though he'd seen her just two days ago. He dried himself quickly and got into bed at 10 p.m. 'a miracle really...' but he wasn't sleepy or tired yet. 

      'Great, what am I going to do now?' V thought. So used were the boys to erratic schedules that going to bed at 10 seemed weird and abnormal. He finally shrugged and thought he'd better catch up on his anime episode or watch Attack on Titan again when he received a text.

      "Hey – what you up to?" Min-ji texted. V smiled from ear to ear, all anime episodes forgotten. He crossed his legs and leaned on the headboard, "Hey! I'm not doing anything, why?" he replied. He almost giggled because he was happy that Min-ji texted him but he just kept grinning instead. He was holding his giggles in  when Jimin suddenly got inside his room and closed the door quietly.
      V almost threw his phone in surprise and he was embarrassed for almost getting caught but outwardly he just eyed Jimin suspiciously, "Yah – what are you doing here?" he asked. "Shh – be quiet!!" Jimin whispered furiously.

      "What? Why are you here Jimin?!" he asked again. The door to V's room opened suddenly and an unknown object suddenly flew straight for Jimin who was hiding on the floor behind V's bed. "Aaarrgh!!" Jimin yelled while Jungkook mauled him to the floor.

      V just looked at them for two seconds and went back to sit on his bed just in time to read Min-ji's reply. "Let's go for a spin!" she texted. V felt giddy and this time his laugh escaped before he could stop it, "Oh ho!! Someone's in love..." said Jimin, his voice somewhat muffled because Jungkook has him completely trapped under him. V didn't even look at them but just said, "Yah – I need to change so can you show yourselves out please?" and promptly took his shirt off to change.

Jungkook stood up first, "Jimin is such a loser – he doesn't even know where to hide!!!" "Yah – I'm older than you, you know!!" Jimin spat. Jungkook just ignored him and went out of V's room, "Jin-hyung, is there food?" he called out. "Yah – come back here!!" Jimin ran after him.

V just looked at the open door and shrugged. He changed more quickly, then typed, "Meet you in 10 minutes..."
