Min-ji smirked at Yeosob before driving off.

In truth she was furious.

It took all of her good manners and upbringing not to run him over. 'Who does he think he is?' she shivered as she remembered his creepy grin and his slimy stare that seemed to undress her. She hated herself for ever dating him – but she was young and easily impressed – especially since he was a professional racer at a young age too.
It didn't help that their circle of friends were the same since there were only a few hundred families of full Korean descent living in their own clique in West London.

Min-ji was on auto-pilot when her phone rang. She snapped out of her reverie and sneakily answered it, "Hello?"

"Oy – why did you answer when you're driving?" Min-kyu pestered her even from afar. "Yah – you idiot – I'll kick your arse...why did you leave me with that sod?!" she was angry now.

Min-kyu just laughed, "Oy – calm down will you?" "What do you want?" Min-ji screeched at her brother but he only laughed more.

"A 'Taehyung'? called and asked where you were...." Min-kyu dramatically paused and Min-ji's toes curled in anticipation and annoyance. "What did he say?" Min-ji's earlier annoyance and anger faded away and were replaced with anticipation and excitement.

"Oh – he asked where you lived and I-" Min-kyu started to say but Min-ji

"What?! Wait-" her heart stopped and she held her breath.

"Oh hello – come in...." Min-ji heard her brother opening the door and welcome someone in. Min-ji quickly disconnected the call and thought, 'Drat!!!' She switched lanes and stepped on the gas to get home fast.

'What's going on with Taehyung?' she wondered. She called him because she was dying to know why he was risking to visit her house. His phone rang so many times but he never picked up.

Min-ji started to get annoyed and anxious. She was over thinking things all the way home. She was antsy even as she drove to her driveway. "Where is he?" she said immediately to Mr. Ahn. "This way please Min-ji ahgasshi..."

Mr. Ahn led her to the pool where she saw her brother and Taehyung – sitting side by side. They were laughing and when Taehyung noticed her, he stood to greet her. Min-kyu also stood albeit he rolled his eyes at her.
"Oh you're here?" her brother nonchalantly said. She ignored her brother and asked, "Oh – what are you doing here Taehyung-ah?" she blurted out suddenly and then huffed as she was out of breath. "Are you okay? Were you running a marathon perhaps?" Min-kyu smirked at her,

'Ugh – I'm gonna kill you!!!'
she glared at her brother but smiled at Taehyung. "Ah haha -" she laughed awkwardly. "I'm okay – please – let's sit down...uhm – oppa, don't you have somewhere else to be?" she gestured with her eyebrows.

Taehyung looked at Min-kyu as well. "Haha – don't mind me – I promise I won't tell anyone about what will happen here today!!!" Min-kyu teased but he was halfway to the door already and skilfully dodging Min-ji's shower of throw pillows.

Min-ji awkwardly smiled at V and mouthed, "Mian - " She was embarrassed to let him see this side of her. But to her pleasant surprise, he just laughed with that deep voice of his and turned his already gorgeous face into something even more wonderful to look at.

Min-ji swallowed slowly as she looked at his face. "It's okay – you pretend to be so tough but you're so soft and squishy like Yeontan-ah!!" Min-ji furrowed her eyebrows and couldn't help a twinge of jealousy when he affectionately mentioned this Yeontan person.

But she still asked, "Who is Yeontan?" "Oh – he's my puppy..."

'Mworago?!!!!' she yelled in her thoughts.
