Alesha POV

I was talking with David as I was watching Amanda talk with Ant and Dec. She looked really cross with herself... I probably might ask her whats wrong... it might be about Simon though. Why does it seem that whenever they are together, things seem awkward? Ever since that audition, them two have been avoiding each other, like nothing is happening outside this bloody room.

"Wait so what does that mean?" I asked as David finished what he was saying about food storage and survival. I feel like I know but... I don't want to think about it.

"W-well, I am saying that we might... well um... have to go out of this room..." David hesitated only for me to try and swallow it all in.

"Oh..." I felt lost. I didn't know what to say when David came closer into my personal space.

"I'm really sorry A-alesha..." I felt myself move a bit when David took a step back and blushed at my reaction.

Whats wrong with you Alesha?

"It wasn't your fault... its ummm... well I know w-we had to g-get out this room..." I stuttered weakly.

"I hope we can take a different approach but that seems like the only one that could actually save us I guess..." Mumbled David.

"How? How can that save us?" I said, questioning his prediction.

"Well, someone could actually be out there... seeing if anyone else is her-"

"No. No one is here. No one is alive. Everyone is dead. Dead David..." I interrupted angrily only for David to make a sad face.

"I'm really sorry... I am" David quietly said, only for me to see his eyes turn glossy. I felt like someone punched me in the stomach multiple of times. The guilt started spreading like wildfire in me and I felt like crud.

ALESHA! He is trying to help you! What the heck!

"No David... I'm sorry. Y-you were trying to help me but I guess I wasn't ready for going out of this room" I put my head down when David made me look at him.

"But I'll be by your side, right? I am no superman but..." David paused only for him to blush again.

"I can help you... can I?"

I nodded my head as I hugged David tightly. He rested his chin above my head as he was taller than me. We pulled away and smiled when Ant alerted us all with something.

"Guys! Me and Dec found this radio!"

I looked at the rusty radio only to take no notice of it. I don't think anyone did besides Simon.

"Give it to me" Simon said, only for Ant to walk over and hand it over. Thats when Simon started tuning through stations, receiving only statics and mumbled voices.

David POV

I watched Simon play around with the radio, where Amanda was still looking a bit down with Ant and Dec still trying to cheer her up.

"Do you wanna go over to Amanda?" I asked Alesha, who turned her head from me to Amanda.

"Might as well" Alesha replied back.

We both walked over to Amanda, only for me to sit across from her and Alesha to sit next to her.

"Are you okay love?" Alesha said gently, as she rubbed her back softly.

"I feel like crud Alesha..." Amanda stammered.

"Aww don't stay that..." Dec pouted. Thats when Amanda looked up, only for me to see heartbreak.

"Thank you guys..." Amanda smiled weakly.

I smiled at her as we all started to feel a bit relax. Just another few days in the green room...

Thats when we all heard something on the radio but decided to ignore it.

"Lets all relax and prepare ourselves for this shall we?" I sighed, sinking into the chair.

"No David..." Simon said as he stood up, walking fast to the other side of the room.

"Why not mate? Its just a few days then we'll go... right Anth?" Dec said, looking at Ant and then Simon.

"We can't..." Simon said frustrated.

"I-is something wrong Simon...?" Amanda murmured quietly.

Thats when I felt my heart beating a bit when he finally revealed it.

"Someones here to rescue... it was on the radio. The 'disease' spread around the city and there was an announcement of those who survived but..." Simon paused, trying to regain his courage.

"We have a limit... this is our last chance of surviving"
