As soon as you arrived home. Your parents nearly squeezed you too death telling you how much they missed you. No surprise though. They've always cherished you. Hence your name ;). Your mother suggested the three of you go out for dinner to celebrate your homecoming. "Yes, please! I'm starving!" You exclaimed excitedly to your mother.

During dinner

"It certainly sounds like you had a lovely time this year." You mother said after listening to your adventurous tales. "Oh yes mother. I can't wait to go back." Your mother's face changed a little and looked over at your father who had the same look of concern in his eyes. "What?" You asked very curiously. "We've decided to send you to Beauxbatons academy, dear." You weren't sure what to feel after hearing that news. But, you knew your parents always had your best interests in mind. You didn't even bother asking why they decided to change your school.. "If you both think that's best." Your father looked at you with worry. "You know we love you and we want what's best for you." You smiled and looked over at him. "I know, father."

Later on that evening

"Marcus, are you sure we're doing the right thing for her?" Lucinda asked her husband. "Yes, I'm sure. We discussed it my dear. After reading her letters talking about befriending mudbloods and half bloods..." Lucinda cut him off. "We told her it was ok to befriend them." "But what if she falls in love with a boy who is a half blood or a mud blood. It would absolutely destroy me to have to break her heart." Marcus explained to his wife. "At least beauxbatons is an all girls school, she can focus on her studies without the distraction of boys." He finished. "You're right my love. You're absolutely right."

Cherish's room

You lied awake in bed tossing and turning for what seemed like hours. You turned and looked at the clock beside your king size bed. "2:03 am" it reads. "Good god, what am i going to do with myself?" You wondered quietly. Climbing out of bed, you put your silk robe over your nightgown and put on your favorite slippers. Peeking out of your bedroom door to see if your parents were still awake. You turned on your bedroom light. Pacing back and forth in your large bedroom, you finally thought of something to keep you occupied. "I'll right Draco a letter! :)"

Draco's POV

Dear Draco,

How is your summer going so far? Not very exciting I assume since it just started. Mine's already ruined so to speak. My parents informed me this evening they're pulling me out of Hogwarts and sending me to beauxbatons. My parents hit me with the news the night I returned home for the summer. I didn't even bother to ask them why they chose this path for me. But, my parents have never given me a reason to mistrust their judgement so I'll try to make the best of it but, I'll miss you and the others. Its 2 o'clock in the morning as I'm writing this. Just couldn't sleep. Nerves i suppose. Haha i have not even started at beauxbatons yet and I'm already a nervous about it. Listen to me just rambling on about myself. I should probably try and get some sleep. My parents say they have a lot planned for the summer. Well, Goodbye for now my good friend. Write me back! :)

-Cherish =)

"She wrote me a letter :)" You thought quietly to yourself. You weren't sure what it was. But, from the moment you saw her, You were just drawn to her. Not in a romantic way or anything. Just like, You were always destined to meet each other. She was a true friend to you. Always complimenting you, helping you with your studies, staying up late with you when you needed her. A genuinely good person. "Boy I'm going to miss her." You said out loud. "You're going to miss who, Draco?" You heard your mother, Narcissa ask from your bedroom door. "Oh, Hello mother. Just this girl I met at the beginning of the school year." "A girl?" Your mother asked curiously. "Does this girl have a name?" "Cherish Rosier." You didn't hear a response from your mother. Curious, you turned around in your desk chair to see her smiling at you. "What?" You asked with a giggle in your voice. "Oh, nothing my son." She retreated out of your room and closed the door. "That was strange." You whispered to yourself. But, thought nothing more of it.

"Lucius!" Narcissa whisper/yelled to Lucius upon entering his study. He looked up from the paper he was reading. "Yes, Narcissa?" "Wonderful news, darling. Draco is speaking with a young lady through letters." "And?" Lucius asked looking unamused. "Cherish Rosier" His eyes grew wide at the mention of her name. "You lie!" He playfully accused Narcissa. "No, Darling it's true! He's interested in a pure blood." "We don't know that he is interested in her romantically, For heaven's sake Narcissa he's just a boy. All we can do is hope that the values we instilled in him will stick." Narcissa smiled. "Cherish.. Marcus and Lucinda's daughter. Our good friends Lucius! WAIT... I heard Draco say that he is going to miss her." Lucius looked at Narcissa. "He probably meant while they are apart in the summertime." Narcissa nodded her head realizing this was probably true.
