Draco's POV
You missed Cherish. You hadn't seen or spoken to her since the night of the Yule Ball. You knew she felt the same way about you. But she wanted to stay faithful to her future husband. You smiled at the thought. "She wants to be faithful to me, even before the marriage begins." Of course, she didn't know you were her fiancé, but she would soon enough.
You had more dreams about her lately. Not sexual ones like before. Dreams about your wedding day. "Hahah I hope she doesn't trip." You laugh/whispered to yourself thinking about the traditional blackout veil she'd be wearing. The one that hides her face from the groom and the grooms from her. You tried to imagine her face when she sees you standing before her. Would she be happy? Would she faint? You snapped back to reality. "The day will come before you know it." Off you went to finish out your final days of 4th year.
Cherish's POV
"I must stay faithful to my husband." You said to Hermione as you both walked down the hall. "But you aren't married yet, and there's nothing wrong with just being friends with Draco." "But the temptation is there" You replied. "And I'm not sure I'd be able to control myself." She admired your strict morals. "Now enough of this talk of marriage. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it." She nodded in agreement. "So how are things with Victor?" You asked eagerly. "To be honest, I think we'd be much better off as friends." She replied. "Really? Why?" "Well, we don't really have much in common. He's very sweet but, he's more body than brains." "I see." You replied to her. You knew Hermione needed someone who can carry intellectual conversations with her and Victor wasn't it. "Well, at least you'll both always have the Yule Ball and Hogwarts." She smiled at you. "Thank you, Cherish." "Write to me this summer, won't you?" You asked. "Of course. Promise you'll do the same?" You nodded and hugged her.
