Chapter 8

Yoongi's POV:

(Y/N) took Taehyung to physiotherapy and let us at the company. Me, Hobi and Namjoon sat in a corner of the practice room and discussed about themes for the songs while Jungkook and Jimin were teaching parts of the choreography that Jin had forgotten.

By lunch time we were all reunited together and went to the same restaurant in front of the building. The same male waiter served us again, but he refused to charge the meal (Y/N) ordered. He kept glancing at her the whole time while she was eating. She tried her best to make him accept but he said he would let the money on the table. I would be jealous of her if I hadn't notice how uncomfortable she was.

At the end of the meal he handed her a paper and smiled. She tried to politely decline but he shoved it into her hands and walked away, already serving other costumers. When we were outside (Y/N) discretely threw it in the garbage can and we headed back to BigHit. When we were safely inside she pleaded.

"Can we never go back to that restaurant again?" She was still uncomfortable, already wearing loosen up clothes and her hoodie was almost swallowing her but it seemed like she was trying to make herself smaller.

"Sure" I said. She immediately turned to me and tilted her head, probably trying to figure my reasons of being so nice. Since she already knows the secret I don't need to be an asshole anymore. She blinked twice and it made her look like a cute puppy. I was trying hard not to smile.

"But why?" Tae whined. Seriously, this kid has no sense.

"Because (Y/N) doesn't want to. You can go by yourself if you want" Namjoon said.

"But I want to have lunch with (Y/N) noona" He said, clinging on her right arm.

"Awwww not fair, I want to be with noona as well" Jimin said, clinging on her left arm.

(Y/N) and Hobi laughed and she turned to Jungkook.

"What about you Kookie, want to come with noona too?" He deeply blushed and looked to the floor before nodding. The whole group busted into laughing and Hobi went to hug him.

"I can see you are taking care of these boys, (Y/N)" Said a male voice behind us. Tae and Jimin instantly let go of (Y/N) arms. We were still on the hall of the building and we were really loud so it wasn't a surprise that PD-nim went to see what's happening.

"Oh hello PD. They just need a little push, that's all." She said and smiled at him. He was surprised at first but quickly hide it.

"Then keep with the good job. See you guys around. By the way, I missed you (Y/N)" He waved and went to the elevators.

"How come you can call him PD?" Hobi asked.

"Just because" She shrugged

"She is for him what Hobi is for us" Jin said "A ball of sunshine"

"Hyung" Hobi said and threw himself Jin. I might get infected if I stand too close to them. I took a step back and could see Namjoon doing the same, grabbing the arm of Jungkook to save him from this madness. Tae went to join and Jimin went to attack the leader and the maknae.

"Was" Was her low response and I could only hear because I walked towards her so they wouldn't come towards me "Let's go guys, we still have work to do".

Nobody listened to her, since she was speaking in a normal tone. She blinked twice like she just realized the jungle she was in and she looked at me.

"I've never seem them so crazy before"

"Since you moved with us they calmed down a bit cause you were new. But now they are comfortable around you"

I looked at them. Jungkook was on Jin's back, Tae was on Hobi's back and Jimin were on Namjoon's back. They were fighting like they were on horses. I was really glad I was not a part of that cause Jin seemed like he was trying to elope but Hobi kept pushing him in again.

"So the calm days are gone now. I was really glad when you were there at the beginning cause it made them shut up a lot"

"Really? It seemed like you hate me" She said and looked me in the eyes, making me nervous. It's not that I'm scared of girls or anything, but how come such a short person can have this much of an attitude? It can be intimidating. Maybe the hack of the height made her like this. She can't get protection by force so she has to get it from somewhere else. I have to keep an eye on her cause it might get her in trouble.

"I was only worried you would tell PD-nim about Tae." We were still staring at each other. Even though it was chaotic over there, I could fell I was in a bubble with (Y/N). A smile started to form on her lips.

"I thought you were a completely different person" She tilted her head again. Don't. Don't be this cute. Don't do this to me.

"What's the verdict then?" I asked, not even trying anymore to hold my smile back.

"I like you more after I met you." We kept in our dreamy state before Tae screamed.

"Hyung! Noona! Come play with us" He said before almost receiving a punch from Jungkook.

"We could use the service elevators on the back of the building" (Y/N) suggested looking worriedly at them.

"Good idea" I agreed, and we sprinted towards it like our life depended on it.
