~(Your P.O.V)~

I skipped down the path through the forest, taking in all the wonderful colors and such. In my hands I held my harp, humming as I spun around and played beautiful songs that just kind of came to me. Azura always told the others and I that singing made our goddess happy so we always did so.

Stopping, I came to the end of the path as a building stood in front of me. It was a building made of stone and had lots of moss along with vines all around it. This was a place I knew well for Azura use to sometimes take me here on special occasions.

We'd both come here and sing together just the two of us. It was always nice since Adara wasn't allowed to come therefore she couldn't correct me on everything like she always tried to. 'You struck the wrong not'. 'Make sure you hit the high note just right.' 'No. No! Your doing it all wrong!' These were all things she tells me when I sing or play the harp. It was nice being away from her but now Azura never takes me really anywhere; none of them do. Over the years I guess we've just drifted apart even more than we were.

Staring at the place, I couldn't help but let old memories come back. I sighed, smiling brightly," its been awhile since I've come to Skyview temple but its just the same as the last time I was here. Beautiful."

I made my way up the stairs, hugging my harp to my chest as I slowly opened the main doors. A cold air blew passed me, one that always did when you opened the doors. When I looked inside, it was dark but I knew most the beauty was farther in.

Walking down the steps into the hallways, I couldn't help but feel amazed even if I've seen this temple so many times before. It wasn't cold but wasn't very warm either, simply just...cool. I would watch as blue sparkles danced around in the air, matching the color of the many glowing mushrooms and plants all around. I like how all the colors go together too~

'I shall stay here for a bit as it will be just like old times, well, expect Azura won't be here,' I thought with a shrug.

The farther I walked into the temple though, the more I got this strange feeling that I was being followed. When I looked behind me, I only saw diamonds that quickly faded in the air. They didn't match any of the colors of the sparkles around me either. They were warmer colors. Shaking my head, I looked forward, feeling a bit scared but I knew I shouldn't be.

'My sisters said nothing is out to get us. Nothing. I'll be fine for I am strong on my own!' walking around the corner, I gasped as I saw something or someone in front of me. Not taking time to really get a good look at the creature, I swung my harp, hitting it in the head as hard as I could.

"OW!" Blinking, I looked to the creature to see it wasn't really a 'creature' as it was the boy from before; the imposer Link~!

"Oh hello there," I smiled as he rubbed his head, looking up to me.

"Hi..."

"Sorry about hitting you I thought you were a monster or something out to get me," I exclaimed as he raised an eyebrow, shaking his head.

"Well last I checked, I'm not monster. I'm only here to look for my friend. What's a girl like you doing in here anyways? Isn't it dangerous?" Link asked as I thought about it for a moment before shaking my head.

"Usually it isn't. When my sister and I use to come here it was always safe."

"Your sister and you...? So there's more people on the Surface?" He seemed amazed but I don't know why he was.

"You and that girl Zelda ask a lot of the same questions. I have three sisters who live here with me, yes," I confirmed.

"So...where are your sisters?"

"Don't really know. I just came here to hang out," I turned, skipping off as Link raised an eyebrow, following after me.

"So you just come to this place to...'hang out'?"

"Yep~"

"Alone?"

"Yes."

"..." he gave me a confused look before I spun around, facing him as I crossed my arms behind my back.

"So you still haven't found your friend?"

"No, not yet. She must be around here somewhere though," he shrugged as I took his hand, pulling him after me with a smile.

"Then I'll help you! I know this temple well so if she's here we can find here together~" I cheered as the boys face turned red.

"I-Its fine, you don't have to help me-"

"But my sisters say we were made to help people like you so I shall make my goddess proud and help you, Link~" I looked to him as he stared at me.

"Your goddess...? You mean Hylia?" He asked as I hummed with a nod.

~(Link's P.O.V)~

This girl's very friendly, that's for sure. But maybe its a good thing if she can help me find Zelda quicker. If (Y/n)'s right about knowing her way around this temple then I'm sure with her help finding Zelda will be easy.

Looking back to (Y/n), I couldn't help but feel like I've seen her before somewhere. Her (h/l) (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes...she looked familiar but I can't say how. Maybe she did live on Skyloft at some point and fell or something. That would explain why she looks familiar and she could have possibly hit her head therefore losing her memory. Maybe after we get Zelda, I can take her back to Skyloft and Professor Owlan can check to see if she has memory loss.

"Hey you okay?" I blinked, snapping out of my thoughts to see (Y/n) staring back at me, smiling.

"Y-Yeah. Just thinking...is there...anything you remember about an island in the sky by any chance?" I asked as she let go of my hand finally, turning to me and thinking.

"Well~ Hylia sent people on an island up there from what I know. Why do you ask?"

"No reason...how long have you been down here on the Surface?" I asked her yet another question as she smiled brightly.

"Forever~!"

"Huh."

'Maybe she doesn't remember anything about Skyloft. People living on the Surface is impossible right? In school we've never been taught anything about people on the Surface and if it were true I bet we would have been...right?'

I ended up just choosing to follow (Y/n) as she led me through the temple, seeming to be right about knowing her way around it. She didn't take us to any dead ends or have to turn around as she just kept skipping down one way.

At some point, she suddenly stopped dead in her tracks and simply stood there in front of me. She seemed frozen almost. I titled my head, walking to her side," is something wrong...?"

"Someone else is in there..." she whispered, pointing to the large door leading to another room in front of us yet other than that she didn't move another muscle.

"It must be Zelda!" I smiled, running pass her to the room and pushing the door open while walking inside the room.

"W-Wait, I don't think-" she ran to my side, pulling on my arm as I turned to look to her.

Before she could say another word, the door behind us slammed causing us both to jump. I spun around, running to the door and pulling on the handle. No matter what I did, it didn't move at all.

"Its locked!" I tried to hit it open but still no luck. (Y/n) stood behind me, her hands cupped in front of her as she frowned.

...Then a laugh filled the air...

 IMPORTANT A/N:
Hey guys, I just wanted to do a quick Author's note involving updates on the story. Finals week is coming up along with the end of the semester so everything at school has been a rush therefore updates might be a little slower. I'll do my very best to get an update every week but if not, they might be every two weeks (no later than that though). So if its been a while without updates then please don't worry. I don't ever plan on cancelling stories like this one nor do I plan on holding them. Hope you guys at least liked this chapter~Maple
